DCRUST is a government undertaking university and the admission to various B.Tech streams  is done on the basis of JEE Main score obtained by the candidates. The admission is purely base on merit and no management quota is available.

On the basis of your category , percentile and home state Quota . It is difficult for you to get core branches in DCRUST Murthal. Also to get branches like Mechanical , Civil is also difficult . You can wait for last rounds of physical counselling as you may get seat in mech or biotech . And also apply on other state government colleges of Haryana like UIET MDU ,GJU Hisar etc.

The cutoff for EWS category JEE Main is 70.2435518 . YMCA does not accept JEE whereas DCRUST does . For 4 years in DCRUST ,the fees is 1.87 lakhs for B,Tech Computer Science engineering. DCRUST Murthal and UIET MDU Rohtak are more and less same . But in terms of infrastructure UIET is ahead of DCRUST . In terms of location ; UIET MDU Rohtak is near Delhi . Faculty of both colleges are qualified . Both Colleges have same Placement Opportunities . Also labs are are with modern tools and equipments . But for opportunities in sports . MDU is again ahead of DCRUST . I will suggest you to take college in which you are getting core branches like CSE , ECE ,EE .

DCRUST, Murthal has good placement in CS and ECE branch. It's neither bad nor the best. 70% to 80% students are placed every year here. The highest salary offered was 8 Lakhs. Companies that visit this college for placement are TCS, WIPRO, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and few more. TCS is a mass recruiter and recruits 100 to 150 candidates every year. Average package offered is 3.5 Lakhs.

Now coming to scholarships, DCRUST offers the following scholarships to it's students :

1. M.Vishvesvariya Scholarship (B.Tech)
Topper of each branch is given INR 40,000

2. Arya Bhatta Research Scholarship ( M.Tech and Gate qualified)
INR 40,000 and additional INR 5000 for boarding and lodging.

3. Merit Scholarship
For top 10% students in each discipline worth 600 per semester.

Look, to be honest, I will say none of these 2 colleges is good. But, still, I will suggest, go for dcrust, murthul. It is comparatively better than the other one.
