Can I get nit Jalandhar ceramic engg. With 80 marks in jee mains (other state and obc category)?

No nit Jalandhar is among top 10 nits .There is no chance for getting admission in these low marks

what will be the minimum percentile for an obc student to secure a seat in NIT Jalandhar?????

Hello dear!
For the home state category, you have to score 95percentile whereas for other state category you have to score 97.5 percentile to get a seat in NIT Jalandhar for core branches.
For non core branches you have to score almost 93.50 percentile.

Can I get textile engineering in nit Jalandhar with 100 mark in jee mains [obc cat and other state,female candidate]?

Hi Zareen!

Well it depends on how the state counselling goes as well as the all India counselling.

Like if you are the decendent of the same state then it might be possible to get the seat at the very first counselling or else after few rounds it will be allocated.

But as per the previous JOSAA list, chances are quite high.

I have scored 29 in Jam maths 2019(obc). Can i get NIT Jalandhar or any other NIT?

Jee main cutoff for NiT's is based on jee main qualifying marks and all India ranks.

The expected jee main 2019 cutoff for NiT's can be predicted from the previous years for NiT's is mentioned below.

Jee main 2018 cutoff -

Common rank list - max marks : 350 min marks : 74

Obc - max marks : 73 min marks : 45

St - max marks : 73 min marks : 29

Sc - max marks : 73 min marks : 24

I got 94.7 percentile in jEE main can I got admission in nitj

Hello aspirant...
According to your percentile you general rank would be around 46000 .It is the predicted rank.NTA will announce the result officially after April mains.There is very low chance to get admission in Good Nit from general category.You can join Northeast NIT in some lower branches.If you belongs to category then you can get in some good branches in some NIT like NIT Nagaland,NIT Sikkim ,NIT Nanital ,NIT Arunachal Pradesh etc.
I suggest you to do better in April mains it is a chance for so that you can join top NITs.

Which is good for mechanical nit jalandhar or nit durgapur

NIT Durgapur is better than NIT Jalandhar. NIT Durgapur is much older than NITJ and thus has more alumni than NITJ. NIT Jalandhar was established later so have better infrastructure but NITD is undergoing massive infrastructure modernisation. As it is located in Bengal and Bengal had produced well known scientist and scholars, so environment for research is good here. And taking mechanical engineering in consideration i will suggest you NITD. rest decision depends on your choice

How is nitj for chemical in terms of placement

Hey.

In NIT, Jalandhar out of 68 eligible students 51 of them were offered jobs. 6 got double job offers. A total of 45 students were placed. The average package was 5.44 lakhs p/a in the previous years.

can i take admission in sliet longowal if in josaa counselling seat is allotted nit jalandhar

You need to have allotment in that clg. Wait for further rounds if you hope you can get that clg acc to your filled choice list.
Else without allotment you cant take admission in that clg. If you dont report at the alloted clg for document verification your admission stands out cancel. You need to report at the RC to choose freeze slide or float options.

It is quite great. It has a very well-designed curriculum and classrooms, and the library is also very well-updated with books from every domain. The hostel provides students with a comfortable living experience and makes earning enjoyable.

College Infrastructure

NIT Jalandhar has good infrastructure with well-developed labs and classrooms. There are three hostels for first-year students: BH1, BH2, and BH5. BH1 and BH2 are better than BH5 because the food and facilities are much better in BH1 and BH2, but BH1 and BH2 are four-seater, while BH5 is a two-seater.
