Hi, I have got EWS rank of 7,000. Can I get CSE in home state quota in NIT Jalandhar or in any IIIT?

The admission authority will release the cutoff for top B.Tech branches of NITs for the admission of candidates in different NITs through JEE Main.

Factors determining the NITs cutoff for top B.Tech branches

Total number of applications received for the admission in the institute
Total number of candidates appearing for the JEE Main exam
Number of B.Tech seats available
The difficulty level of the JEE Main 2019 exam

Sorry but with this rank in JEE your chances of getting a seat in nit Jalandhar are quite not possible. You might get a seat in textile engineering but not other branches even with your category.

My Jee Mains Rank is 235489 And my Category Rank(OBC) Is 75000 can i get cse or ece gruop in NIT Jalandhar?

Sorry to say but with this rank jalandar nit in cse or ece is very hard . You can try for it but your chances are very low . With this rank you can try for other state government colleges or private colleges .You can go for Chandigarh university or top private colleges.

You can also check your possible college as per your score in jee main in careers360 college predictor section .

I'm afraid going by last year cut off, you will most probably not be able to enroll here. The closing rank for home state students in NIT Jalandhar last year was 12,335 for the CSE course. Hello Gursharan!

According to last year trend your Score is not so good to get a good branch in NIT Jalandhar. Being from the Home State as well as from OBC category you may get PEC easily by compromising little bit with the branch.

Rest try your best till the final round counselling.

College Infrastructure is decent like there are two lecture theatres where the classrooms have a sitting capacity of 120 each. There are two library building one old and other the new one which is air conditioned and has a sitting capacity of 400 and the old one is a book hun.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is quite decent and they are improving it every year .The campus have spacious classrooms, a central library, computer centers, well equipped laboratories and canteens.Hostels are fine but mess food is average.
