From 2019 onwards all the candidates are required to appear in Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main paper 1 conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

For IPU the eligibility is applicants must have cleared their 10+2 level examination form a recognized central and state government with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Mathematics and English should have been the compulsory subjects at 10+2 level examination. So as per the eligibility criteria mathematics is compulsory.

English Lang: 25%

Logical Reasoning and Maths (Basic) : 25%

Data Interpretation: 35%

Basic General Knowledge and General Awareness: 15%
