can someone tell me what is the reputation of iiest shibpur

It is outstanding in terms of everything. placements are superb campus is huge and teachers are excellent. Well it is the best college in west bengal after IIT and jadavpur university. Previously it used to take through wbjee then it changed to Jee mains.Hope this helps

Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur has a large and peaceful campus with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, a big library, sports facilities, hostels, and greenery all around. The college gives students a good environment for study, research, and campus life.

A bit old but has classy British era vibes feels you are in a different era , quite and peaceful. Festivals are a joy here , culture is the best thing you get here and learn things apart from regular studies.

College Infrastructure

I find the campus historical and beautiful, but the buildings are visibly very old and need modernization. My Electronics and Telecommunication labs have basic equipment, but I look forward to better instruments in later years. The library resources are vast and excellent for my studies. I know the infrastructure is average, but the heritage value is high.
