Yes ,it has all necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment like hostel,Cricket ground,basketball court,badminton court,volleyball court,library,lift in buildings,wifi area available everywhere in hostel, classroom and library and main building. 4 Canteen is available inside the campus. Mess food is good and quality is also good,3 lakes are in the campus. Swimming ,gym , is also there in the college.

Quality of teaching in our college is excellent. Teachers are very supportive and if you follow all class and teacher's guidance you will got good cgpa and good for your job as well. I'm currently studying in mechanical department, where teacher's are very good.

Placement scanerio of our college is also good. In mechanical branch, last year(in 2022) one student get package of 1.2 crore(international offer). And average salary of our branch is around 6 lpa and overall is also around 5 lpa. College support in placement and it is easy for students to get placed in good company.

For sc and st or students whose family income is less than 1 lakh, those students no tuition fees required and for students whose family income is between 1 to 5 lakh, those students pay two third of total tuition fees. And for other students, you have to pay around 1.5 lakh per year.

Campus life our college is also good, seniors are very supporting. Best thing of campus is fully greeny campuand worst thing is the old building because this is 2nd oldest engineering college of India. Yes location of our college is also good and it is safe for students as well.

Infrastructure of our college is good, well maintained. Being 2nd oldest engineering college of India, buildings are old but well maintain. Wi-Fi is across the whole campus, classroom is well maintained as well. Laboratories of our college is excellent all equipment's are there. Hostel facility is good. In our college two big sports ground, one basketball, one volleyball court. Mess food is also good in our hostels and canteen food is also good.

Quality of teaching in our college is excellent. Teachers are very supportive. Being a CST student, teachers are very good some teachers are world renowned professors. If you follow all class and serious in your goal, then this is enough to get a job.

Placement of our college is excellent especially in CST. In our branch average package is around 7-8 LPA and no. of students getting more than 15 LPA is also more. Highest package is around 55lpa in 2021. In all branches average package is around 5-6 LPA. So, if you serious in your goal you definitely get good company as college support in placement and process of placement is quite good as well.

Yes, our college is valued for money. If you SC and ST students or general/OBS students whose family income is less than 1 lakh, no tuition fees required and whose family income is between 1 to 5 lakh, those students get waiver of two third of total tuition fees. And, total tuition fees per semester is around 62.5K.

Campus life of our college is very good. You enjoyed your 4 years here with your college friends in greenly campus. Seniors are very supportive as well teachers and staffs are also very supportive. Location of our college is also good 1km from Shalimar station and 6km from Howrah station and 28km from Kolkata airport. so, location of this college is good and also safe for students as well.

In our college different clubs are there like dance, music, drama club and many more club as well where students participate in different clubs.

Infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides all facilities for Students. Laboratory of our college is excellent. Wifi is all over the campus. Classroom is also well maintained but buildings are old because our college is second oldest engineering college of our country. Hostel facilities is also there for students whose home distance is greater than 60km. Mess food is also good. In our college two big sports ground one is oval for football and other is lords for cricket.

Quality of teaching is best. All teachers provides better concept for students to learn easily. Teachers provides better concept to learn and get placed in good company. If you follow the class and teachers guidelines then you will get good grade as well good placement.

Placement of our college is excellent. Avarage salary is around 5-6 lpa and highest salary in 2022 is 1.2 crore international offer for mechanical student. Every year more than 120 company comes in our college both core and non core company. In our department, avarage package is 6-7 lpa in 2022. So, placement process also easy, if you work hard and potential in your study.

Big campus, greeny campus, good environment. Best thing of our college is senior are always there with you and support always. Teachers and staffs also supportive. In our college, many clubs are there like music club, dance club, photography club and many more club where students participate. Location of this college is also good, 6km from howrah station and it's safe for students as well.

Being the 2nd oldest college of our country and an INI ( Institute of National Importance) alumni base of this college is great. Total 10 department including architecture are present for undergraduate level.

Placement is something that everyone are looking for. Having a great alumni network placements are one of the great things that you will find in this college. Students get placed in every sector like software, IT, banking, core, consultancy etc

As an INI this college have similar fee structure like other NITs. 68000 per semester excluding hostel fees. Hostels fees are 54000 per year but it can vary. If your family income is below 1lakhs rupees per year you will get full waiver, and if your family income is between 1lakh to 5lakh you will get two-third fee waiver. You can also get scholarship from GAABESU.

Campus Life is something students are looking for. For campus Life I would say the location of this college is great. It is located just beside the ganga river, you can go there and spend some time in the afternoon. Various clubs events and fest are going on frequently, departmental fests are also there. Musical fest like Oikotan and culture fest like REBECA happen each year. Kolkata is just beside you can go there each day if you want and enjoy city life.

Overall this college is great. If you get an admission here you won't regret. Sports facilities, fest, campus Life, academics, placement everything are great. If you are much interested in sports and get a spot in the college team you will be selected to play Inter NIT sports events. Otherwise various sporting events are going on inside the campus itself. The 2nd most oldest college in india ,here you not only enjoy college life but get to relive the British era. With 2 large playgrounds a swimming pool various hostels to choose from library with almost all books and medical facilities this university isa city within itself.

It focuses on not only the engineering aspects bit makes you ready for every other challenge as well. The mentors are equally supportive and in times of any help reaching them out without any hesitation is what is the most impressive thing.

Placements have always been good. Almost 85 percent students get placed every year and the highest package being 40lpa(computer science and technology) and average being 7-8 lpa(all departments) and the companies reaching out are prestigious.

For a general student this might turn out to be a bit expensive ( 71000 per sem)but is theamount every college takes and for students with categories it is the best. But there will be no extra charges as in donations for the general ones.

Very good, Building are bit old, but very ancient & historical types. Changes are seen everywhere in every filed of the college. New new machinery are installed in every sectors & lots of efforts are seen form the administration

Very good. Academics is very very good. The profs are too much experienced & much more dedicated towards their work. Lots of theories & lots of practical works are performed everytime to enhance the education.

The college has all necessary infrastructure and the rest are under construction or maintenance or upgradation and will be effective very soon. It has one of the biggest Library comprising of around 1.5 lakh books, journals, magazines and research papers in hardcopy and soft copy as well. All the sport and gymnasium is well maintained and the girls hostel constructed recently are great but the boys one need some renovations even a 10 storey boys hostel is under construction as well.

Ok with this topic but the fields for work and delve deep is vast and have specialised experts to guide as well.Teaching varies from professors to professors hence ranges from very poor to excellent ones, the best in the industry and hence overall average rating.

Decent placement but then also not upto the marks since the average package is much below many colleges of same standard and the percentage is low as students go for higher studies may be due to low packages or even not placed or have some keen interest in any topic to have future prospects.

Prices too high not at all budget friendly for the general middle class , it seems as if we are running the others and bearing their loads in addition to ours financially.

Great campus life in the bank of river ganges and connected to Calcutta, the City of Joy. Greenery all round with heritage buildings and rich bengali culture squares up the vintage feel for a bengali.

Just don't go after NIRF ranking it is a total scam, evaluate it personally on all the details provided in the NIRF pdf to have a good idea of the real scenario.

The college is old, so the hostels and classroom is not in its best shape and not very well maintained too. The lab machinery is old but atleast the lab is well maintained. The campus is well maintained and has a lot of greenery which promote good environment for education.

I study Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. The curriculum is outdated but the professors are good teachers. They help us grasp the basics and if we are serious with academics, it is more than sufficient to be job ready in our department.

The placements can be better if we see numbers but there is a high influx of core companies here and you true worth as an engineer in a core department can be tested with experience in this core companies CS placements are also amazing with high packages

It is having what a engineering students need.Hostels are in good condition with WiFi of average speed.decent for students interested in sports it's having two big ground.Students interested in research will love it.

Average being a metallurgist it is what you expect.some good companies do come to our campus every year with average package of 4lpa .other department's placement is good specially electrical engineering department

The Infrastructure college is my good. Though we do not have sufficient amount of hostels. yet the accommodation is good. The class buildings and classrooms are well maintained. So over all infrastructure is very good

Our college is the second most old college in India and has a rich heritage in terms of academics. But some times some teachers get hasty in finishing the syllabus rater "teaching" us. But I think that happens in every college I assume. Very few subjects follow stone age syllabus. All the departments are up to dated.

Being an NIT and a institute of National Importance various famous companies visits our campus for placement. We have good record of on campus/off campus placement record. The students get placed in Google/Microsoft like places. So overall placement is good.

Campus Life here, in one word, is outstanding. The campus is most green place in the whole state. The beautiful scenery here is just a feast to eyes. The seniors and teachers are very helpfull. So you wont regret ever with this campus life.
