Here I would prefer to join nit andhra pradesh as it has better course cirriculum and focusses more on research which ultimately improves the academic level of nitap also the placements here are better if you compare as a whole although with iiit pune you might get the location advantage but overall looking at placements academics and other factors I would suggest you to join NITAP  so choose wisely.

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that NIT nagpur will be the better option to peruse btech in civil enginerring. It holds very good nirf ranking and has nit tag whichs helps to provide very good alumni network . Moreover , I always say to look for college over branch as in the end students of all branches get equal opportunities for placements . Faculities are also very well qualified . The average package goes around 11 lakhs and highest went around 34 lakhs

Dear applicant although we know Computer Science Engineering is a very widely chosen stream but considering the two Institutes I would suggest you to choose Civil in NIT Calicut. As it is a well ranked Institute,reputed and well maintained by the college authority as well. When comes to placements average salary packages offered are nearly 8-9 LPA for Civil Engineering branch also, the Faculties involve yourself into research works and your academic experience would be overwhelming.

Dear Aspirant, according to me CSE Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Kottayam is better than IIIT Nagpur and IIIT Dharwad as the placement and research work are much better in IIIT Kottayam than the other two and also IIIT Kottayam is old and reputed. See Civil Engineering have very less placement rate in NIT Nagpur. Apart from this those who get a placement got into IT sectors. So if you are ok with that then go for NIT NAGPUR. But if you are interested to learn something and do a job on that subject only then IIIT KOTTAYAM will be a better choice for you. Also CSE have a much better career compared to that of CIVIL ENGINEERING in terms of employability. Although Civil Engineering is a very important field of engineering but its a sad reality.

Distinctively there are no comparisons in terms of infrastructure and academics as both of the institutes have amazing infrastructure. They both have good faculty strength but the problem lies in the scenario of placement.

Comparing Placement of IIIT Kottayam with other new iiits will give a brief idea of how IIIT Kottayam stands superior among others. 2019 was the first year when IIIT Kottayam saw its first placement. Institute had good companies coming forward to recruit them. Some of them where NISSAN ,L&T, Reliance(JIO) and many more startups. Good companies like NISSAN offered package starting from 6 Lakh to 10 Lakh. Which is brilliant when seeing the first placement year of Institute. Whereas other new iiits did not saw this type of offers in their first year. So comparing the current scenario one can expect that the placement to be as good as old nits in coming 2–3 years. It is a well deserving institute for candidates securing rank between 5000 to 15000.

Most important point is that no other new iiits have got their permanent campus except few. But IIIT Kottayam have got its campus from 2018–2019 session, again beating other new iits

However Sastra University is a good choice for Computer Science Engineering course and the infrastructure, educational facilities, labs all are quite comfortable. But the Placements may offer an average salary of 3-5 LPA. But it is a renowned institution and will be better to select.

hope you are doing great. As per your query  I would glad to tell you that IIIT nagpur will be much better option to persue btech in cse due to its good nirf ranking and strong alumi network . It has very well maintained infrastructure having labs occcupied with the latest technology , faculities are also very expeirenced . In placement drive , almost 90 percent of the students get placed with an average package of 8 lakhs and highest went upto 45 lakhs
