hope you are doing great. As per your query  I would glad to tell you that IIIT nagpur will be much better option to persue btech in cse due to its good nirf ranking and strong alumi network . It has very well maintained infrastructure having labs occcupied with the latest technology , faculities are also very expeirenced . In placement drive , almost 90 percent of the students get placed with an average package of 8 lakhs and highest went upto 45 lakhs

IIT Kottayam has a overall student rating of 4.2/5.

IIT Chittoor has a overall student rating of 3.6/5.

Both these institutions are absolutely great and wonderful in terms of education as they have great faculty who are highly qualified and provide students with all amenities and a wonderful environment to study and live in.

IIT Kottayam more than 90% of students get placed in the placement cell, the highest package salary offered to a student recently was 18 lakhs per annum and on average students get placed with a package salary of 7-8 lakhs per annum.

Top companies like Goldman Sachs, Bosch, TCS.  Take part in the placement cell.

IIT Chittoor has some great placement opportunities as well, recently a student was placed in CSE branch by Microsoft with a highest package salary of 40 lakhs per annum & on average students get placed with a package salary of 12 lakhs per annum.

Top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc take part in the placement cell.

Therefore, in terms of education for CSE branch both these colleges are absolutely excellent, but in terms of placement IIT Chittoor has a slightly greater edge.

If your are willing to join IIIT then the most important aspect that should be considered is the Faculty per student ratio and Fees per year/semester.

For IIIT Nagpur,Student : Faculty ratio is----350:23

For IIIT Kottayam Ratio is-------132:18

Using this, select the college that matches your preference. The student to faculty ratio must be small, which gives individualized attention.

For Computer Science Engineering(CSE), I will suggest  you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram instead of IIIT Kottayam

• IIIT Kancheepuram rating - AAAA
• Kottayam. - AAA+
• Less fees
• Good placements

Also, in IIIT kanchepuram ,tamilnadu The fee structure of this college is 5.25 lakhs, infrastructure of this college is too good.coming to placements,the highest salary package was 51 LPA and average salary package was above 5 LPA. faculty of this college is too good.

Also, please choose between CSE and ECE as per your area of interest as both the fields are having great scope. Rest is your call. So, choose wisely.

The total fee for BTech course in the college is 8.55 lacs and the exam accepted to get admission in Btech course is JEE main, the duration of the Btech course is of four years, the  total fee for Mtech course is 1.36 lacs and the duration of the course is of three years.
The institute has a private ownership, and is a institute of National Importance, and the rating in the engineering of the college is AAA+ According to careers 360's website.
