IIIT Kottayam Admission Process

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kottayam offers admission to B.Tech and Ph.D programmes. IIIT Kottayam admission is entrance-based. For the B.Tech course admission, scores of JEE Main are considered. On the other hand, the Ph.D admission requires entrance test scores followed by an interview. IIIT Kottayam admission to Ph.D course, as per the college-based counselling and entrance exam.

Only after clearing the cutoff for JEE Mains, candidates are allotted seats at IIIT Kottayam. The Ph.D programme is provided to 4 different student categories; full-time (sponsored), full-time (self-financed), part-time, and full-time (scholarship holders). IIIT Kottayam also offers M.Tech courses for working professionals and candidates are admitted to the M.Tech, based on an admission test and interview.

IIIT Kottayam B.Tech Admission Process

Candidates are required to register for JEE Main and appear for the entrance exam.
Candidates must pass JEE Main and clear the required cutoff.
After qualifying for JEE Main, candidates must apply for counselling at the respective JoSAA/ CSAB.
During counselling, candidates must list their preferred college and the B.Tech course.
Seats are allotted to candidates to the institute based on meeting the IIIT Kottayam JEE Main cutoff. After seat allotment, candidates must get their documents verified and pay the fee to confirm admission.

IIIT Kottayam Ph.D Course Admission 2024

There is no provision for offline submission of Ph.D applications. Hence, candidates must apply online. IIIT Kottayam application fee for the Ph.D course is Rs 1000 (Rs 500 for SC/ ST/ PWD and Female candidates).

IIIT Kottayam Ph.D Admission Process

Students need to apply to the institute's online admission portal and submit the required details (phd.iiitkottayam.ac.in/).
Admission to the Ph.D programme at IIIT Kottayam is based on merit and performance in the entrance test and interview.
The institute will call the selected students for an entrance test. The students who will pass the entrance test will have to appear in a personal interview.
The final result will include the candidate's merit, their performance in tests, and their interview performance.
The selected candidates whose names appear on the merit list will have to pay the fee and get their documents verified before enrollment.

IIIT Kottayam Counselling 2024

Candidates can apply for B.Tech counselling through JoSAA/ CSAB. The JoSAA will conduct the JEE Main 2024 counselling in 6 rounds. IIIT Kottayam Counselling 2024 based on JEE Main scores will be conducted tentatively on June 10, 2024. The counselling process involves registration, choice filling, mock seat allotment and final seat allotment.

IIIT Kottayam JEE Main Results 2024

The NTA has announced the IIIT Kottayam JEE Main 2024 result session 2 on April 25. After the results, the JEE Main answer key 2024 will be published on the official website. JEE Mains 2024 result session 2 includes NTA scores, roll number, percentile, and more. The whole process of admission to IIIT Kottayam is done in an online mode by the counselling authority.

I got 1014 in keam, 32816 (97.963214 percentile)in mains and josaa allotted cse in iiit kottayam, my iist rank is 3622 with less chance of selection. in nit with my rank circuit branch is not possible. I am in general category, please guide.
