Hi aspirant, according to your question you should choose the branch first in the branch you want to be or take and it should be your choice that in which branch you have interest. If you have interest in CSE than you should definitely go with IIIT, Sonepat as it have the better placements and academics in comparision to other colleges you have mentioned in the question but if you have interest in core subjects and branches than you shoud opt NIT Kurushetra, DTU or NSUT. But overall IIIT sonepat have an edge over other colleges you have mentioned in the question. So you shold choose wisely and carefully.
Good Luck.
Hi, since you want to compare both the renowned institution. Since there is very less differences between the same kind of institutions. Since both the institutions are IIIT so there is no so much difference but one place where IIIT, Sonepat have an edge over IIIT, Guwahati that is Placement ans well as total fees of 4 years in both these there is a huge gap which prove IIIT, Sonepat best of IIIT, Guwahati.
Good Luck.
Hello Aspirant,
If your concern is for CSE Branch then among all the mentioned colleges only two colleges are the best that are IIIT Bhubaneswar and IIIT Sonepat. As both these universities have the best placement record since the past years into famous companies with attractive salary packages for CSE students also other facilities at the college premises are great but again if compared between these two colleges then IIIT Bhubaneswar is the best amongst all as it has slightly better placement record compared with IIIT Sonepat. So overall both these college's are great for CSE. It depends upon you which you choose based upon your comfort.
Hope this helps
Good Luck
Hey, there is no scholarship program for general category students in iiit sonepat. But you can apply for the requested state scholarship at the particular states. Sometimes they provide the scholarship criteria based on your past school performance. To know more, visit the college website.
Hi aspirant,
You aksed for the comparison between these 3 choices.
Now, see, all iits are good more or lessly. Among the engineering streams, cs is most preferable branch then it & then ece. So, if your only target is to study in a good branch, you should go for the CS choice.
But, overall, among these 3 choices, I will recommend IT in IIT Sonepat. 1st reason is better placement packages around 11LPA where the other ones have placements around 7 lpa. Secondly, location of it is very good for internships & transportation.

Hi Aspirant,
In respect of placement and future scope, I will suggest CS from IIIT Pune over IIIT Sonepat. IIIT Pune has better placement than IIIT Sonepat. And the second factor is CSE has a better scope than IT in all the terms.
But, I will suggest that you make the selection as per your interest.
Hope this information answers your query.
Hello Aspirant,
Both college are Good.
IIIT Sonipat for IT is much better than IIIT Pune . Because facilities are good and fees is also less. Placement in IIIT Sonipat are also very good. Environment are also Nice. Faculty are Experienced, highly-educated, friendly and helpful in nature. If we see the overall rating IIIT Sonipat for IT rating is higher than IIIT Pune for EC So overall IIIT Sonipat (IT) is better than IIIT Pune (EC).
And it's also depend in which field you have interest so, you can also through your field of interest. If you have interest in IT (Software you can go with IIIT Sonipat for IT. And If you have interest in EC ( Electronics) You can go with IIIT Pune for EC.
I hope this information would be helpful for you.
All the best for your bright future ahead.
Dear Candidate,
The total fees for one year in IIT is Rs 1,20,000.These fees is same for general candidate and OBC-NCL candidate.Hostel charge and mess charge is almost around Rs 80,000.
If you are an OBC-NCL candidate and your's family income is below one lakh then the candidate gets full waiver in tution fees.If you are a OBC-NCL candidate and your family income is between one-five lakh then the candidate get 2/3rd waiver in tution fees.
If you are a SC/ST candidate then your entire academics fees gets relaxed. You don't need to pay the tution fees and the candidate also get many scholarships.
Thank you
Hello Aspirant,
The total fees For IIT Sonepat is around Rs, 5.59 lakhs. And the total college fees for Delhi Technological University for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering, B.Tech Electronical Engineering, B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering is Rs. 7.81 lakhs. And for M.B.A. is it Rs. 3.96 lakhs.
Thank you.
Hello,
Fees in both the colleges is almost similar, and DTU is quite established college, with much better course curriculum and placement.IIIT sonepat do not have its own campus yet and is operating from IIT Delhi TechnoPark.
Considering above factors I feel you should go for DTU.You can also use our college comparison tool:

Currently our college IIIT Sonepat is running in transit campus "SBIT". Here our all the classes are running at here and all the office work also. In the transit campus classes have ACs, projectors or smart boards. Labs have well equipped instruments , wifi and ACs. There is a library also from where you can easily take your course books. Our permanent campus will be completed by Jan 2026.Therefore there is 90% chance of shifting our classes to permanent campus in jan 2026 after semester break.
Although our current transit campus is in a local closed up private college, it doesn't matter that much to me but it impacts the enthusiasm for programming in a negative way. We are not able to get the coding culture we require but atleast the professors are coordinating in nature. Wi-Fi is available but mainly in the labs. Hostels are currently owned by private vendors so a bit expensive.
there is a very good infrastructure and nice area all around . campus is wifi and canteen is also good and canteen food really taste good and there is safe environment for girls , for going there is also transportation service also.
