Hello

According to last years cutoff

General : rank 1 -250

Other all categories : all were given spot admission

This is just last years cutoff. However it could drastically change in year 2019 as more number of students are going to give kvpy.

I think this year , all obc/sc/st candidates could not get seat (unlike last) as competition is improved.

Hey there hope you're doing well.
Dear aspirant, congratulation on scoring a good percentile in the JEE MAIN examination. By scoring this percentile you are placed in top 1 percentile of students appearing in the exam. You can expect your rank somewhat within 5k to 10k. You can predict your rank by the formula
(100- your percentile score in paper1)*869010/100.
But you cannot get IISC through this for that you have to clear JEE ADVANCED and secure a rank. With this score you can get top NITs and topmost branches also .
I'm also providing you with our college predictor link for getting a better picture of the colleges you can get with this percentile.

Thank you hope this helps you!

The cutoff keeps changing every year but based on previous years' data, if you belong to general category, then a score above 610 out of 720 is good enough to grab a seat in IISc Bangalore. For OBC candidates, the cutoff score usually lies around 430+ marks.

To get admission in IISc, you need to qualify some exams. From Undergraduate to PhD courses, there are entrance exams for each course. These entrance exams include NET, IIT JAM, JEST, CEED, GATE, JEE, KVPY, NEET UG etc. Candidate must also possess an All India rank in the range of 1-250 in GATE or JEST examination or qualification in UGC-CSIR-NET (JRF) exam or currently valid KVPY / INSPIRE fellowship.

Hello jagjeet

It will be good if you score more than 95 percentile to get a very good stream and a good IISC. You can easily accomplish this much percentile you just need to study hard and have to study thoroughly.
