Eligibility:
Students who have completed 12th standard with a minimum of 60% or First class or equivalent grade
Students must have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in +2 compulsorily; Biology, Statistics, Electronics and CS: Any of these can be additional subjects.

The cutoff marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in the JEE (Main) stream were: 295(General); 196(OBC-NCL); 150(SC); 108(ST), 181(KM) and 181(PH). Among the above-shortlisted candidates, those who have secured less than 275 marks in JEE(Main)need to attend the interview.
Which means if you clear the cut-off from your category and your marks are above 275 you don't have to attend any interview
They don't care about board marks for admission through JEE- MAINS. Only your score in JEE-MAINS counts.

Since you have not mentioned the name of course, so I am assuming you talking about the B.Sc course in IISc.
This year, offers were made to SC category applicants selected with ranks of up to 74 for KVPY-SA-E and 154 for KVPY-SX-E streams in IISc's B.Sc course.

Admission will be using merit list of national level entrance exams KVPY, JEE (Main and Advanced), and NEET. Students who appear in followingentrance exams are eligible to apply for IISC 2018 Admission. NEET UG (Appearing in 2018 and securing a minimum of 60% (GN), 54% (OBC-NCL), 30% (SC/ST/PWD)). So, at the time of counselling for NEET participants, there is hardly some 10–20% seats will be left for spot counselling so the cut off marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in the AIPMT/NEET stream will be: 600(General); 390(OBC-NCL); 390(SC); 216(ST), 362(KM) and 362(PH).
