Hello,
Sry to say but there are limited seats in iisc which are occupied by top ranking students qualified in neet and jee advanced.  Admission also occurs by selection in kvpy. After qualifying all these exams, students getting selected in interviews will get admission.
You can get admission in private medical college.
Good luck.

hI ASEEM,

Hey suraj
If you provide me your rank it will be very helpful me to predict your college ,so please help with your rank.
Thank you.

Hi Raj

The cutoff marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in the JEE (Main) stream were: 295(General); 196(OBC-NCL); 150(SC); 108(ST), 181(KM) and 181(PH). Among the above-shortlisted candidates, those who have secured less than 275 marks in JEE(Main)need to attend the interview.

Which means if you clear the cut-off from your category and your marks are above 275 you don't have to attend any interview
They don't care about board marks for admission through JEE- MAINS. Only your score in JEE-MAINS counts.

hope you will get definitely because ur rank deserves it mriganka Banerjee

Hi,

Since you have not mentioned the name of course, so I am assuming you talking about the B.Sc course in IISc.

This year, offers were made to SC category applicants selected with ranks of up to 74 for KVPY-SA-E and 154 for KVPY-SX-E streams in IISc's B.Sc course.

Hi... Kubera

NEET exam is conducted for admission into medical courses in private and government colleges for courses  such as MBBS and BDS.

Courses offered in IISc are as follows:-

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in the following subjects-

  • Biology
  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • Earth and Environmental Science

So, whichever you prefer is upto you.

Hi there,

Admission will be using merit list of national level entrance exams KVPY, JEE (Main and Advanced), and NEET. Students who appear in followingentrance exams are eligible to apply for IISC 2018 Admission. NEET UG (Appearing in 2018 and securing a minimum of 60% (GN), 54% (OBC-NCL), 30% (SC/ST/PWD)). So, at the time of counselling for NEET participants, there is hardly some 10–20% seats will be left for spot counselling so the cut off marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in the AIPMT/NEET stream will be: 600(General); 390(OBC-NCL); 390(SC); 216(ST), 362(KM) and 362(PH).

Thank you
