IIT BHU has a better placement record. It has good campus & has a good labrotary too. A lot of opportunities is there in BHU. So choose BHU. Both Tech. & non Tech. Companies come in bhu. Most of the students get placed in good companies & get international packages also. Best of luck.

The interview process is all about confidence. You just need to revise your basics and go through your GATE notes. Professors will check if you are just a bookworm or you know the basics. You can get some top IITs and NITs at this rank. Getting IIT Madras is somewhat difficult but you can definitely fetch seat in IIT BHU.

IIT BHU has good placements. Microelectronics has a lot better placements than many other streams like electronics communication, microwave, etc.

As per my general survey IIT BHU is not that much good in the placement of M.tech.

You have no chances for IITs and not even NITs .Score less than 500 can give you no IITs ,no NITs and no IIITs/GFTIs.

uou might probably get state engineering colleges/Universities.You should apply there .

Jee Advanced cutoff varies every year by a slight difference. For B.tech in CIVIL ENGINEERING at IIT-BHU you must score a rank at least above 6500 in JEE Advanced.

If we look at the previous trends of Rank vs Marks then tou must score 200+ for securing rank above 6500.

Please don't keep your target 200 and prepare accordingly. Target for higher marks and put your best efforts, then you'll achieve this score.

The cut-off for the year 2018 for the OBC CATEGORY to get civil branch in IIT BHU is given below :

OBC NCL :

  • Opening Rank : 1724
  • Closing Rank : 2457

Similarly, for the year 2017 is :

  • Opening Rank : 1429
  • Closing Rank : 1873

Following are the factors which are considered for determining the cut-off for JEE Advanced for admission into IIT BHU :

  • Total number of candidates applied for the JEE Advanced Examination. 
  • Total number of candidates appeared in JEE Advanced 2019 entrance examination. 
  • The availability of seats in respective programmes in IIT BHU.
  • The difficulty level of examination conducted by the IIT's.
  • The most important, the previous years cutoff trends.

MODE OF ADMISSION :

  • It is a two-step process. You need to qualify the JEE (Main) exam and then take the JEE (Advanced) exam for getting into IIT BHU. 
  • A candidate must have secured at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII OR One must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in his/her respective Class XII board examination.
  • The admissions are done on the basis of rank obtained in JEE (Advanced) through JoSAA Counselling.

  • Caution Money (One Time, Refundable) : ₹9,000
  • One Time Fee : ₹5,750
  • Tuition Fee (per Semester)  : ₹1,00,000
  • Other fees (per Semester) : ₹5,950

  • IIT BHU has an impressive placement record for the years. 
  • In 2016, the highest package offered was Rs. 2.27 crore Per Annum by Google US. 
  • In 2016, the average package offered was Rs. 10.90 Lakhs Per Annum.
  • In 2015, the top packages offered were Rs. 2.03 crore Per Annum by Oracle and Rs. 1.63 crore Per Annum by Google (including Employee Stock Option Plan – ESOP). 
  • There are many other prestigious employers such as Agserve Goomalling, Applied Materials, Google, Infosys, General Motors, Microsoft, Oracle, Walmart, Accenture, Vodafone, TATA Steel, etc. which recruit students from the IIT BHU campus itself

The best college that supports you during and after graducat

College Infrastructure

The college shares infrastructure with BHU campus. You will feel like living in a holistic environment which supports your every day life. The classrooms, laboratories etc are well maintained. And there are sufficient extra curriculum infrastructure as well. The hostels and mess are amazing.

The college infrastructure is good but old , the old hostel buildings are not so good in terms of infrastructure , but the new hostels which are built are very nice , the classrooms are okay , but this year ACs and Smart boards are being installed so that is a good point.

Good infra.. but it’s a govt college so not that hygienic like hostels n everything but campus is huge so ya many things to do.. food is avg.. we have wifi smartboards everything.. overall nuce college
