Yes you have to pay a JoSAA counseling fee in order to show your participation on JoSAA and also to mantain your participation on counseling for subsequent rounds.
This is a one time payment, any upgradation or change in the choice does not results in the repayment of fees.
If you decide to back out from the counseling at later stage, you can/allowed claim for a refund. They after deduction of mnute counseling fees returns the entire sum into your bank directly.
And if decides to accept/lock the seat then those sum of money would be used in spending your admission fees of that particular college.
Hence mataining your participation on JoSAA counseling is a win-win situation
I strongly recommend the aspirants take part in all the rounds of counseling and even if possible go to spot round.
All the best for your future endeavours.
Hello,
If you got an interview call from IIT BHU and you were not able to attend the interview on the selected date then no need to worry. You should contact the authorities of the institution as soon as possible and tell them that you belong to state where recently a natural calamity took place. Then depending on the condition the incharge will ask you for the next date on which you can give your interview. But make sure that next time you should positively appear for your interview.
Hii
IIT BHU has a better placement record. It has good campus & has a good labrotary too. A lot of opportunities is there in BHU. So choose BHU. Both Tech. & non Tech. Companies come in bhu. Most of the students get placed in good companies & get international packages also. Best of luck.
Hope this information is helpful for you.
Hi Sachindra,
Congratulations!
The interview process is all about confidence. You just need to revise your basics and go through your GATE notes. Professors will check if you are just a bookworm or you know the basics. They may also ask why you have opted for the particular course. Tell him/her about your interest with honesty. Just be relaxed and have confidence.
All the Best!

Hello Aspirant,
IIT BHU has good placements. Microelectronics has a lot better placements than many other streams like electronics communication, microwave, etc.
As per my general survey IIT BHU is not that much good in the placement of M.tech.

Visit the link for more details.
The infra is I would say average only not too good and not too bad …it need to work on its infra they really need to work on that otherwise people would stop taking IIT BHU …most of the nits have better infra
Hostels: Separate hostels for boys and girls with amenities like laundry, dining halls, and medical centers Labs: Modernized laboratories for various subjects including chemistry, physics, and computer science Library: A well-equipped library with over 88,000 books, terminals for accessing databases, and more Sports facilities: A sports complex with a swimming pool, tennis courts, indoor squash courts, and more Auditorium: A large auditorium Canteen: A cafeteria Gym: Separate gyms for boys and girls
The infrastructure of this IIT needs to be improved as far as other IITS are concerned. We will find decent hostels situated on campus. It also has its own mess, which provides decent food. Classrooms are also well-equipped with modern facilities. Here, the library has very limited capacity so it needs to be expanded.
