In order to get CSE branch in them for B-tech you have to get a rank inside 200 in JEE ADVANCED. Keep in mind JEE mains exam pattern is also changed this year. To achieve what you are talking you have to really work hard rather hardest.

Without qualifying jee advance one cannot take admission in iit bombay. Qualifying jee advance is mandatory for taking admission in any of the IITs. In IITs for UG programmes like BTech, BS and BTech+MTech (dual degree), the admission is conducted through JEE Advanced score. Also candidates need to be passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology as an optional subject, with at least 75% marks (65% for SC and ST candidates) to be eligible fir admission.

Both the streams which you have mentioned is totally different from each other. As per the overall rankings released by NIRF, MHRD IIT Bombay ranked 3rd in the list whereas IIT Indore ranked 13th. Placement wise IIT Bombay is good in comparison to IIT Indore. Deciding a good college is also important and as per the analysis it comes out to be IIT Bombay. Hey Pavan! First of all the General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) cutoff marks for CSE in Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is 750+. If a candidate score around 750 marks in GATE examination he / she can get admission in IIT Bombay.
Pavan currently you are in first year so don't worry much about the GATE examination now. You can start preparing for GATE in the second year or Third  year of your engineering. Hope this may help you.
