Hello aspirant!!! Well it is a matter of personal preference. If you are really bend on do cse then you should choose IIT Bhilai. On the other hand if you wish to study in a better college then IIT Bombay would be the right choice. Remember that you can change your branch if you perform well in college so I think that IIT Bombay has slightly better edge here. Although the choice is obviously up to you. Hope this helps.
Hello
Of course IIT-Roorkee…..
These are some points on why you choose IIT roorkee.
I m quite sure that you are convinced that the Civil Engineering department is one of the most Performing Departments in Asia. So, if you really want to pursue Civil Engineering in future, you can surely join IIT-Roorkee without any hesitation.
I hope it will help you
Good luck....
Hello
Its all depends upon you interest all iit are best.If you are interested in aerospace or chemical or cse than go for it..its totally depends on you. I suggest to go for IIT Bombay because their placement ,quality of education provided, infrastructure are best among all the IITs...
All fields are good.what matters is having interest in it.
I hope it will help you
Good luck....
Shyam,
Branch upgradation completely depends upon your CGPA. After the end of the first two semesters, the board may give you permission to upgrade your branch. The number of people applied, the number of vacancies these two factors always work. So the more you'll score, the better will be the chance of getting a branch sliding offer.
Regards
Unlessyou have special interset in electrical i would prefer iit bombay.
There are many advantages. IITB has more better and flexible academics, it has more options in placements, location wise also IITB is much better than IITM. It has weather advantage too, IITB's culture is mature , there is nothing like girls and boys there. You can do whatever you want but you should not violate the rules. And many more.
So i would prefer IITB over IITM.
Thank you.
Hi Nikhil,
The closing rank of BS Economics last year in IIT Bombay was 2088.
The closing rank of BS Economics last year in IIT Kanpur was 2718.
The closing rank of MSc Economics last year in IIT Kharagpur was 4499.
Keeping these stats in mind, I guess you'll get Integrated MSc in IIT Kharagpur.
I would suggest you to use college predictor so as to have a better view of all the options available to you. Below is the link of college predictor,
All the best
Hello there. It's hard to say but by looking at previous years cutoff it's seems impossible to grab any seat in IIT BOMBAY with this rank. But still hope for the best.
My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments from both academics and sports activities. It has Hostels for all the students from btech, mtech to phds so we don't have to look for the Pg outside the college.
It is not hidden from anyone about IIT Bombay and its extraordinary infrastructure, the hostels, the departments, the convocation hall, the auditoriums, the playgrounds, the student activity centre, and what not, everything is just fab. Our campus has 24*7 WiFi. The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) was ranked 118th in the 2025 QS World University Rankings.
Hostels here great to live in. The hostel experience is really memorable for any student. All hostels have 24*7 Wi-Fi access and connectivity. Hostel mess food is also far then that of the other college. Also, the hostels are quite safe and secure from the perspective of a girl students.
