I have completed diploma now I am preparing for dcet .after the result ,can I get ceat in IIT BOMBAY

Hi Mouzam,

DCET is conducted for the admission in Diploma Lateral Entry in the state of Karnataka. IIT Bombay is in Maharashtra. You can not get a seat in IIT Bombay by appearing DCET.

I got OBC rank 4346 and CRL rank 19487.Can I get any best IIT like IIT Bombay for Civil engineering?

It's hard to get in IIT Bombay but all other IIts you may get something. As girls quota is there this time you may get architecture course only. All other courses have below 3000 cutoffs last year.

IIT - BOMBAY takes admission on the basis of JEE - ADVANCED. So you need to have a rank of UNDER 1000 in JEE ADVANCED to get Here.

It is the most sought College through the JEE ADVANCED.

Yes, according to last year's closing ranks josaa opening closing ranks you have good chances of getting civil at IIT Mumbai.

College Infrastructure

The campus at IIT Bombay is huge and got modern labs and classrooms. Libraries are full of books and online stuff, high speed internet everywhere. Labs have good equipments for research in computer science. Its nice but sometimes crowded. Hostel rooms are okay, not fancy but clean. Overall, infrastructure help a lot in PhD work.
