No, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology is not associted with IIT Bombay in terms of Training&Placements. All facilities are provided to the officials conducting campus interviews in the NERIST campus. Arrangements are also made for conducting off-campus interviews at Guwahati, Tezpur, Silchar, etc.

As you must be aware that IIT Bombay is one of the top colleges in India so it's cut off is also high. The cut off rank for different branches in IIT Bombay are:

*Aerospace Engineering- 1972

*Chemical Engineering- 1492

Can uyou please specify the exam you are referring to?

In order to take admission in IIT Bombay you should have 75% marks in your boards exams or you should be in top 20 percentile.

For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.
