Yes, To take admission in B.Tech. in biotechnology from IITs, You have to appear in JEE Mains first. Since every IIT take admission in basis of JEE Mains and Advanced Rank. You must have 10+2 certificate in PCM/PCB. Some college take admission in basis of Common Entrance Test.

If my jee advance all india rank is in 5000 ,so can I eligible for IIT Bombay. If I can so what is course fee in their or it will be free?

At the rank of 5000,u can't get anything at iit Bombay. You have to score atlst under 3000 to get a branch at iit Bombay...

What are the eligibility required for to take admission in iit bombay

In order to take admission in IIT Bombay you should have 75% marks in your boards exams or you should be in top 20 percentile.

For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.

Irrespective of your mains score, if you are in top 40 in JEE Advanced ranking, then you will definitely get cse seat in IIT Bombay.

If you belong to general category then you will definitely get engineering physics in IIT bombay and IIT Chennai.

For OBC it is 150-786 and SC it's 166-579 and for ST it is 201-272 in IIT Bombay. In IIT Chennai for OBC it is 638-1000 and for SC it

College Infrastructure

The campus at IIT Bombay is huge and got modern labs and classrooms. Libraries are full of books and online stuff, high speed internet everywhere. Labs have good equipments for research in computer science. Its nice but sometimes crowded. Hostel rooms are okay, not fancy but clean. Overall, infrastructure help a lot in PhD work.
