As per the official website of IIT DMK there is no official statement about discontinuing the Dual Degree program  offered. The admissions into dual degree program is through JEE Mains rank only.

The cutoff ranks for every college changes every year, so it is very hard to predict that you will definitely get the seat from a college based on previous year cutoff ranks. So if you wanna upgrade your college apply for it but keep a hold of the college you were allotted to. So even if you were unable to get a seat in other colleges you will have a seat from previous allotted college.

Exam date : 28-11-2020. (11am to 1pm).

Results to be declared on : 5-12-2020.

Syllabus for Entrance Exam:

Maths        50marks

Physics

(physical science + chemistry)    25marks

total exam is of 100 marks.

application fee general category is 300

application fee for OBC category is 200

First of all you need to specify your field of interest as both the branches ECE and CS have good scope of opportunities in future as well as present. But considering your interest in CSE as mentioned in the question I would recommend you to go for CSE in IIT as the world is getting modernized by getting dependent on machinery and robots and at such a time the requirement for CSE professionals would highly increase in the future.

So it would be great to make a career into CSE as you could work into various job profiles after pursuing a degree in CSE

Both the NIT and IIIT's have great ratings since the past years and have most of the facilities in their respective college. Secondly coming to the selection of a branch you need to consider your field of Interest first as both CSE and ECE branch have great scope. Whereas ECE branch has less scope for job opportunities when compared to CSE because the number of students studying the CSE course every year is increasing.

CSE is a course which presently have great scope and in the upcoming years many countries will be needing such professionals.

CSE students would be getting lots of job opportunities in the future as compared to ECE students. Because the world is getting dependent on robots and machinery and near future a lot of CSE engineers would be required

Finally if your not interested in CSE and still want to pursue a degree in ECE then when compared with IIIT Kancheepuram and IIIT Naya Raipur, I would recommend you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram as the college has a great record of placements in the past years for students into famous companies with good salary packages.

According to your profile you belongs to UP and considering your category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs/IIITs as per previous year's cut-offs even in CSAB round but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

The documents required for Andra pradesh ePass scholorship are :

• Aadhar card of student and parents.
• Latest and valid family income certificate
• Caste certificate
• Marks cards of previous qualification
• Ration card of the candidate
• Bank details

Study certificate from 6th to 9th is not mandatory document required, however, it is better if you have it. Kindly read the guidelines given in the official website of ePass AP.

*As you have secured 75 percentile in SC category in JEE mains then your SC category rank must be around 18000.
And as your SC rank is around 18000 then your CRL rank must be near about 300000.

*So, with this much higher SC category rank you can't get any IIIT'S or NIT's or GFTIS in whole JOSSA counseling. And with this huge CRL rank of yours, you can't get any IIITs' not even in CSAB special round counseling.

*But there is a chance that you can get some FFTIS in CSABround counseling like - National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and
Management, Ghani Khan Choudhary Institute of Engineering and Technology, School of Engineering, Tezpur University, Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology ( food technology) ,etc.

yes, you are eligible to apply for ePass scholarship as you belong to reserved category and your annual family income is less than 1 lakh. Also, since you have got seat in IIIT Jabelpur, which is not a open university you can apply for scholarship. Certain details and documents such as Family income certificate, state bank details, aadhar card, caste certificate etc will be asked.
