Hello,
Yes, There is a fee reimbursement in IITs for the students whose annual income is less than 1 Lakh. The whole tution fee is waved off. However, for this you must submit your income certificate, form 16 (employees) and other such proofs. The only payment you need to do is for hostel and mess which might cost around 30,000 per semester in any IIT.
You can also apply for MCM scholarships (after joining IIT) where you may get rupees 1000 per month.
