Hello aspirant,

With the above mentioned percentile score, your overall Predicted JEE mains rank will be around 317130 - 356500 (CRL). The SC Category rank will be much lesser. Now, looking at the previous year JEE mains cutoff, your have little chancs to get some good and best colleges in JEE mains with the above percentile score and rank. To secure a seat in one of the NITs, IIITs or GFTIs with a Respectable Branch, being from SC Category you must target a SC Rank of atleast 7k. For the SC Rank, the corresponding CRL will be anywhere around 150-160k, and a Percentile Target of atleast 85-86 .

To know more about the JEE mains Cutoff, you can follow the below mentioned link : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.

But If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your CRL rank is expected to be in the range of 33248 - 37375 .

Note that the rank which is predicted is only the expected rank on the basis of previous year's data so your actual rank might vary depending upon current factors.

Based on such rank and category (considering as General, since you have not mentioned it) you can go for:-

  • NIT Jalandhar - Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology
  • NIT Durgapur - National Institute of Technology
  • NIT Srinagar National Institute of Technology
  • National Institute of Technology, Agartala
  • IIEST Shibpur - Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology

Hey there!

Well according to percentile your rank would be somewhere in between 89001 - 100050 as per the JEE Mains rank predictor https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor

However it is quite difficult to predict the colleges as the admission is totally based on the rank cut off set by the Institutes itself.

As the cut offs set by colleges is depends on various factors like

1- Difficulty of examination

2- No. of students appeared of examination

3- No. of seat available at Institutes

3- Category of an Individual

4- Branch choices

but we can follow some previous year trends of colleges cut offs to get a rough idea of admission.

Hence according to previous year trends, you might get admission in

1- NIT Srinagar

2- Assam University, Silchar https://www.careers360.com/university/assam-university-silchar/cut-off

Also you can go through previous year trends of cut offs for Computer science at

Also you can use colleges predictor tool to know in which colleges you ight get admission based on your percentile

Hope this helps !

See, Indian Institute of Information Technology Bangalore is a private institution and does not support any kind of reservation or quota and the admissions are there are completely on the basis of merit, without any consideration to gender, cast etc.

Unfortunately, the CSE at IIIT Bangalore in 2021 closed at 5500 rank in JEE Main, and with your percentile you won't get an admission there, but you can always try a second time and emerge victorious. All the best for your future preparation.

Unfortunately it is very difficult for you to get admission in one of the Indian Institute of Information Technologies in Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering with an EWS rank of 11,000.

You should always give yourself a second chance, so you should definitely give JEE Main a second time with more preparation and you'll definitely emerge victorious.

All the best!

If your OBC rank is 15314 and your overall rank is 57699, then according to the past trends, the Indian Institute of Information Technologies that you might get admission in are:

IIIT Kalyani
IIIT Agartala
IIIT Sonipat
IIIT Bhagalpur
IIIT Una
IIIT Kota
IIIT Dharwad

You should apply to all of them and you will definitely get admission in one of them. All the best!

Hello Lakshman

JEE Main will be the only criteria being used IIIT admission.

You must obtain a score of 75 percent on your board test or be in the top 20 percentile to be eligible for IIITs. The minimum qualifying percentage for ST/SC is 65%.

You must have obtained an overall grade point average of at least 80% in your top five studies to get admitted to IIIT Delhi.
