The infrastructure of J.C Bose University is not so good. It lack various facilities such as smart class rooms, proper space ,etc. Laboratories are good but smart class lack are not there. One good thing is that it has market nearby.
I am studying mechanical engineering in this university. This university is famous for CE and its mechanical engineering. In some aspects, curriculum is updated while in some regions is it not so good.
The placements for mechanical engineering are good. Percentage of students getting placed every year from this branch is over 85-90% as far as other streams such as ECE, ELECTRICAL, CIVIL are concerned.
The cost of 4 year Btech programme would cost you only approx 5 lakhs if you are from general/obc category and if you belong to SC/ST then it would cost you even lesser. The hostel are ok ok. Cleanliness is maintained in hostels and university.
The best part of this university is that it has 17-20 clubs which helps in enhancing the creativity of a child. Seniors, teachers are very supportive and help you in any way they could. There are various socities too.
The University campus is not fully developed, it is under developed but had utilised the space in a proper way. Washrooms are too good because they are made new and consists of good hygienic facilities. Campus has fully wifi facility. Smartboards are now a days also provided in electronics and electrical engineering department
Without much teachers and help you need to learn more. The curriculum of the university that teachers are going to teach is not good. It is not up to date it looks like the syllabus and curriculum made earlier without much concern is going on and less focus on students.
The placements of computer science, information technology and Master of computer application are too good. The students of these departments get placed into MNCs like Amazon Samsung etc with a package as high as 25 lakhs After that rest branches are not having good placements.
If you are a localite and lives near NCR then at the fees structure of University it is a good option one can consider because a lot of students having good ranks in Jee prefers YMCA over NITs due to high fees structure and distance issued.
The campus life is good because inspire of teachers there are seniors who are like your brothers and sisters and from them you need to learn a lot you will never feel yourself bored or alone if you are a part of a technical or cultural club.
area is small but has everything require to student. newly build shakuntalam hall for indoor activities canteen and eco cafe which have hygenic food in decent rates my classroom has slide screen lcd to promote digital learning labs are fine .
proffesors are very good and talented some are arrogant some are kind and sweet all are specialised in their fields and teaches us well .curriculum is new and updated with new technologies ,seminars and workshops enhance practical learning
many good companies come for training and placements this is the first batch so cannot tell more but they provide internship facilities and also they provide placement cordinator for computer application for placements you have time to prepare for govt jobs because of small syllabus of bca as compare to btech and very less burden
yes it is value for money ,attending seminars joining various cultural ,technical, clubs and societies through auditions ,have ncc and nss many 1st year join ncc and nss ,worth taking admission
outstanding college life btech seniors are very good and talented, help us very much , u can study in library ground hall ,in classroom no one is going to disturb you u will also manage to have good friends in your class in 1st yr
Infrastructure is good. Smart boards are there. Easy excess to research papers. Mess food is quit good. Campus is clean. Well equipped labs. Campus is fully safe and there is hostel within it, separate for boys and girls. There is playground inside the campus only
Teachers are well experienced and always ready to help. Expert lectures are also provided by the guest faculty which is from IIT'S and NIT'S. Different programs were introduced to make students job ready.
Placement is average in electrically but more than 90 % in CS AND IT. There are several programs introduced by the Placement cell of the university even they called the T.I.M.E group to make there students job and CAT ready.
It's almost 80k per year, which is very less as compare to other and you are getting knowledge more than that colleges. Even teachers are ready to solve your query even at night also. They provide you the best equipped lab and there best knowledge.
There is a football ground.. An indoor badminton court and a cricket ground.. Campus is fully safe no outsider is allowed. It's near Metro station almost 100m away from the main gate. Market is also near. All type of facilities are near and inside college
Market and other facilities are quit good near this college.. Metro station is less than 100m away from college. Easy to reach.
College infrastructure is not so good of this university. The campus area is spread over only 20 acres which is very much less as other universities have 250-300 acres of campus area. There are very less smart rooms and work is done mostly on boards. All sports equipment are not there. They are missing in some way or the other.
The burden on student as compared to other universities is very less. Subject are easy and minimal in first year of this university. The curriculum is not updated properly and not so good that it will make us ready for the job
Being a First year student , I don't know about placements as such but as heard by seniors placements for CE and mechanical engineering students are pretty good but for ECE they are not and also it depends on the student that how they are presenting themselves.
As far as money is concerned ,the cost for 4 year btech programme will remain between 4-5 lakhs which is easy affordable and for SC/ST students it is even less i.e approx 3 lakhs. So if you are from middle class family it is easily affordable.
The campus life is just amazing. In fact, i think you can best life here, seniors are mind-blowing here. They are always ready to help you and are very friendly. This university is located near Escorts mujesar Metro Station in sector-6, Faridabad.
The infrastructure of J. C Bose University of Science and technology is not at all good. Firstly university is spread over 20 acres of area and it also cannot expand its campus area because of market at the back and highway at the front.
I am a B.Tech(ECE) student studying in first year and as per my experience some teachers are good and some are not . Curriculum is not updated much according to other fields and universities but regular seminars are held in the university .
Placements of CE field is 90% but placements of ECE are not so good as told by seniors to us. ECE is a good branch as we can go both for core and software jobs. Average package for ECE is 2-3 lac only.
As far as money is concerned total fees of four years would be approx 4-5lakh including hostel fees and its worth it as per my view. For boys, hostels are only for first year but for girls hostel is for four years .
Campus life is amazing. Seniors are very much supportive and understanding. They are always ready to help in every possible way they could. Students can engage themselves in various sports activities. The best part of this university is that it has approx 20 clubs and we can join any club and engage ourselves in it.
