Good morning,

With the choices given above between RVCE's Telecommunication engineering and JSS's (formely known as SJCE) Computer Science, I would like to strongly suggest you to go for JSS's computer science. JSS is one of the top engineering colleges in Karnataka which gives strong competition to RVCE in every aspect. JSS's computer science will provide you good placement opportunities and knowledge. The demand for CSE graduates has been high on rise and will continue to grow. As the stream graduates are in huge demand and JSS has been so far successful in completing the box to provide  it, JSS's computer science is the choice to be choosen among the two mentioned.

ALL THE BEST!

Hi Pragya,

Congratulations on choosing Bio technology engineering !! Being a rarest course, Biotechnology gives you a good placement. Getting a placement is purely your responsibility. According to previous year statistics, SJCE has a moderate placement.

But as per some statistics, there aren't much opportunities for bio-technology related jobs. So, you can expect about 4-5 companies, that too not related to biotechnology whereas they are related to IT services based field like TCS, Wipro, E&Y, etc.., You may get into these companies if you make a little more efforts.

For better chances, i suggest you to try for out campus drives and internships. But although the teaching and facilities are good here.

Hope this helps you !!!

Wishing you all the very best !!

Hey there

You scored low and national institute of engineering maysore has higher cutoffs so you will not get Mysore engineering college. But you have chances of getting

1. Dayanada Sagar institute of technology Bangalore

2. Acharya institute of technology Bangalore

Hi Naveen,
Hope you are doing well. First of all congratulations for securing such a wonderful marks in COMED-K. For your marks, you may get CSE, ECE and even EEE in NIE as well as VVCE. But when talking about SJCE, it may be hard to get CSE. But as you have a very impressive performance you may get other branches. The observations made are based on previous year cutoff. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.

All the best.

Hi Naveen,
Hope you are doing doing well. Answer for your question is yes. With 73 marks you may be able to get NIE or VVCE. For SJCE, you can try but mostly you may not get as competition for admission in SJCE is high. But as I am a VVCE student, I can tell you that you will get admissions with this marks as per previous year cutoff.

Best of luck.
