 B.Tech (CSE) in VIT is much better than JSS university,Mysore.You would be having on your studies and co-curricular activities. On campus placement is much better in viit as compared to JSS University, Mysore.Faculty is also much better in viit.

The rank required depends on the category you belong to. Usually, for General category, high rank is required and for other categories, lower rank is required compared to general category.
