Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
As a former student at Lovely Professional University, I can tell you that you must study and work hard in order to pass.
Due to the fact that your answer papers will not be reviewed by your professors (who taught you).
Everyone does not pass the LPU examination.
In reality, this institution, although having such large enrollment, never manages to make it happen.
Many students have reappears or backlogs that they must clear later on before they can complete their degree here.
There have been instances when students have stayed on beyond the end of their course term in order to complete their exams and backlogs.
There are many students who have dropped out of this institution in the midst of their studies because they have too many problems or backlogs and realise that they will not be able to complete their studies.
If you are a dedicated student with a clear understanding of your objectives.
Then strap up and get ready to immerse yourself in LPU campus life.
Another point is that mentors are assigned to kids who are struggling academically to listen to their concerns.
They provide poor pupils with academic guidance in order to assist them in improving their academic performance.
Encourage them to take part in extracurricular activities as well as school activities.
Students that put forth the effort are always welcome at LPU.
Students who do very well in academics, particularly if they are top achievers, are recognised at LPU convocations with gold medals and University Academic Honour, respectively.
After your failed semester try, the University counts your five chances when they administer the reappear test for that particular course, regardless of whether or not the student appears on that exam.
Your total points (out of a possible 100) will be determined as follows:
2 internal tests (20 points) plus a midterm exam (25 points) and an end-of-term exam (50 points) plus attendance (5 marks)
If you fail, you will be given three more chances to pass the topic in which you failed.
Those three tries will be worth a total of 100 points each.
The consequences of failing to pass even after these attempts include a backlog that must be cleared by attending classes for an entire semester (i.e. it will be treated as an addition to the subject for that particular semester), and during this time you must also pass internal tests as well as midterms and end terms.
Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!

LPU offers various programmes and is also rankd amongst the top 100 universities of the college by NIRF. The campus is quite large and beautiful , also the college offers a quite low cutoff which becomes suitable to get admission in here. also, the placement records are considerable, the highest package offered till now is 1 crore at silicon valley. however, it totally depends on your academic performance and co curricular activities which makes you capable to grab such a good placement. The facilities provided here are also appreciable hostel , wifi, transport, library, well equipped labs, scholarships etc.
Hope I answered your query.
Thankyou
Hi.
IT Giants are attracted towards a college for numerous reasons, such as, they want to hire students with a specific skill set and interest in a certain area which is usually software and coding related profiles. They also need to maintain good relations with colleges and vice versa for self promotion and fundings, which may or may not be the case in every college. LPU is known for mass recruitment companies like Infosys, Capgemini and alike which may provide a job in the first instance and makes it look in the placement tab of the LPU but eventually no actual profit is drawn to the students except for a few.
Good Luck
Hello Aspirant,
Hope you are doing good. As per rules, to be a graduate in engineering, you need a minimum of 180 credits. Therefore, you can choose to have more than 180 credits but a minimum of 180 is a must. In accordance with this rule, SRM Chennai and LPU both issues 180 total credits to a student irrespective of the engineering branch you belong to.
Also do note that in SRM, these credit system is flexible that is you can choose how many credits you want to keep in each semester.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
As per the latest reviews of the students who have studied there in Civil Engineering in JSS Noida, the placement offered in the civil branch are highly satisfying. Top companies like ONGC, Wipro, HCL, BHEL come here for offering placements here. The average salary offered is around INR 8 to 9 LPA. Almost 80% students get properly placed into good companies from this college.
The faculty members are also highly qualified & knowledgeable & they adopt a very easy approach to move forward with the lectures.
The infrastructure of this college is great & there are adequate number of classrooms, labs, sports area, etc. The classrooms are well equipped & are fully air-conditioned.
So, overall JSS Noida is a good choice for pursuing Civil Engineering course as the placements & everything else is really good & you need not worry about that but if you want you can also go for the other colleges you have mentioned.
