Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest.No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. See there are enough jobs for every stream, what a company need is quality engineers, So if you are dead serious for your better future and giving parallel dedication towards it, you will definitely going to succeed.
Every organization or company requires to be present digitally, be it banks, hospitals, education, or railways. Computer Science and Information Technology are one of the most evergreen professions and will continue to rise in the years to come.

Few points i would like to discuss about this course and LPU.
He told that With the advancement of course student will be learning numerous programming languages. In the third year SAP will be introduced in the curriculum. Limited number of Universities provide this course. Here in LPU, students will learn SAP for the entire third year providing them an edge.
At the end of second year students get an option to choose one of seven different minors to pursue (IOT,Big Data,Web Development,Machine Learning,Android App Development,Data Science,Cyber Security). A student can opt for any, according to field of interest.
Students start getting internship and job offers from the 6th semester on wards. If students are eligible and possess all the requirements needed by the recruiter, then they may get placed in the 6th semester itself. The packages are quite decent too, for instance the first company that visited the campus in 2019 gave a package of 42 LPA.
Apart from all the curriculum you come across ,literally, 100s of technical and non-technical competitions being held. Participating in them will give you an extra exposure, an extra platform to share your knowledge and showcase your skills.

Compared to both the Colleges, the placements opportunities are not that great for Core streams but good for CS and IT students. In terms of infrastructure and Facilities LPU is the better one. In comparison to CSE stream LPU is the better choice. Many IT Companies like TCS,Wipro, Infosys, CTS Visit the campus for recruitment. The competition is also high in the campus.
