Fee structure for Lovely Professional University is Rs. 98,000/- per semester.  If you are having marks like:

Category 1 cut off: 95% or more in aggregate 12th you will have 50%off that is Rs.49,000 for scholarship which means your semester fee will be Rs.49,000/-

Category  2: those who got 90-90.49% in aggregate 12th will get 40% scholarship. That is Rs.39,200/- for scholarship  and semester fee is Rs. 58,800.

Category 3 cut off: Those who got  80-89.9% will get 30% scholarship. That is Rs. 29,400 for scholarship . Semester fee Rs.68,600.

BA-BEd is definitely more preferable to BA, the reason being the former gives you opportunity to have work right after graduation like you can apply for CTET or state level TETs, nowadays, many top school belonging to government as well as private  ownership recruit teachers based on CTET scores, BA-BEd is great if you're also inclined towards having teaching as a career.

The Computer Science Engineering Department in LPU helps you develop your skills in Programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing, etc. So though they no.of students who take admission in LPU is large, their student teacher ratio is 40:1. That means even if there are too many students, there are enough teachers to complement the student ratio. So that should not be a problem.

Even though the rating for LPU are very good and so are the reviews on the Internet, I would just like to say that there are a lot of students and when that is the case, generally the studies are to that good and there is more wastage of time.

If you are a student who can work well and study hard on your own. and not fall under peer pressure then any university will be good for you. How ever for LPU I would like to add that the infrastructure facilities are very good and so are the hostel rooms.

Choose wisely.

Yes in Lovely Professional University Phagwara does allow the smartphone and laptops in the girl's as well as boys hostel. They are kind of necessities required to do work in the university. The things that hostel don't allow are iron, microwave or anything that can put effect on the voltage

Hello student. There are quite number of course in lpu. Degree courses like different courses in bsc, btech courses like civil, computer science, ece etc so on and so forth.

Coming to the better scope, ever green branches with lot of scope are computer science , IT, ece, eee. But the point here is which branch are you interested in. Instead of which course is better, choose which course you are you interested in

LPU has a number of specialization for M.B.A courses along with dual specialization option. Most of the Faculty currently teaching at LPU are from various prestigious B-Schools of India.

More than 400 companies visit LPU for recruitment. Average Salary Package offered to M.B.A Graduate is 4 - 5 Lakhs. Some students even grab package between 15 lakhs - 24 lakhs. If you work hard and with consistency you can also grab a handsome paying job

Fees is a bit high but meritorious students easily get scholarships.

LPU has now become a brand name and a M.B.A degree from such prestigious institution is worth it.

Straight forward, in my opinion, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is a better college.

While deciding a better college, there are several factors to be considered rather than just Ranking. Ofcourse, in ranking also, VIT is better than Lovely Professional University (LPU).

You have to take in account the fees, placements, hostel availability, culture, accessibility, surrounding areas etc. etc. because choosing a college is not only academic driven. My opinion is based on taking these into consideration.
