Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University I would say Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic,research,technology,exposures (both national and international),placements,accreditation,Curriculum Rigor and of course a conducive and diversified campus environment to live in.

If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available.

Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic.

I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge.

LPU is a definately a good university where you will get lot to explore if u will apply efforts. As there are lot of students, so lot of opportunities are also there in all fields of life like sports,act,swimming,dancing and many more.The main thing is that you have to explore,if u will waste your time in sleeping and using phone in the hostel than definately u will regret. It's my suggestion at least follow one sports,join for that sport club or acting,dancing as your passion and always try to indulge yourself in something.

Lovely professional University is worth joining,This entirely depends upon whether you can make it worth joining or not. It’s a thing that how University treats you but what’s more important is how you treat the University. There’s no such thing as a BAD UNIVERSITY. That may be the image that we have created in our minds. So whether it is worth joining or not completely depends upon how you utilise the resources provided by the University for the betterment of yourself.

Choosing a University is a big decision, as our career fully depends upon that. There are some key parameters that we should keep in mind before choosing any University, like, faculty, placements, international exposure, curriculum, alumni of that university.

Lovely Professional University is the largest single-campus university in India, with more than 30,000 students, over 4000 faculties and staff, offering more than 200 programmes.

Talking about Lovely Professional University, I was a student of MBA here in LPU. I will summarize you some of the key points of LPU -

1) LPU is having industrial oriented curriculum as per industry demand.

2) International exposure - students from all over the India plus International students are also studying here.

3) Placements - The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of students. Around 550+ companies visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. 4) PEP classes - PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester that prepare you for placement drives.

5) Innovative and productive environment, more emphasize on practical sessions with the benefit of having ragging free campus.

6) You will get an online system i.e UMS ( university management system), in which you can access all the details like your time table, fee status, attendance and result record, exam, schedules and many more.

7) Security measures for girls - If you’re a girl and decide to reside in hostel. Then you’ll have to mark you attendance daily in hostel to the floor warden and be in hostel within the entry timings. 6:00-6:30 is winters timing and in summers upto 07:30 probably. So if you don’t enter into hostel till that time. You are gonna have to face the warden for explanation and may be a call to your parents. That’s a bit harsh. While girls may not like this but I’m sure their parents would surely do. But if you wanna live freely. There are plenty of PG’s near University. Now decide what’s best for you. But you’ll be super safe inside the hostels than in PG’s that’s for sure. You can go to library from 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM. But will be accompanied with a guard from you hostel to library.Hospital, Mall, indoor stadium is also available inside the university campus.

8) LPU is having experienced, specialized and well qualified faculty members. 70+ faculty / staff members have been from foreign countries, faculty from IIT, IIM and IIIT as we are concerned about the betterment of the students and long term growth of our University. At present there are around 70 faculty members from IIT, IIMs, IIITs etc.

9)Tons of events - May it be Cultural, Sports or Academic. There are numerous events held in the University campus itself. If you like to dance/sing/act then you’ll have numerous cultural events, You get a handful of opportunities if you are sports guy. Let it be football, cricket, basketball anything. You’ll get many-many tournaments in every case. If you’re a computer geek, you like coding and all that technological stuff. You are gonna have a great great ride.

She told that LPU being in education since last 18 years has fetched many rankings to its credit as compared to any other institute. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic sessions. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills.
LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same , it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. The syllabus is vetted from the company officials of Cognozant, SAP, Microsoft etc to provide updated curriculum. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO.
