See , IIIT Bangalore is a private college , whereas nit Durgapur is a government college. Being a private college it's fees is very high when Compared to IIIT Bangalore.
But on the basis of academics. Obviously IIIT Bangalore will be a better option if you want to pursue coding culture seriously . Because the coding culture at IIIT Bangalore is much better than that of nit Durgapur. Also placement is better than nit Durgapur.
So of cs is your Passion then go for IIIT Bangalore.
But everything depends on your rank. IIIT Bangalore demands high rank in JEE mains. So if you are fulfilling it's criteria then go for it.
Thank you.

GOOD LUCK!
Hi supratik ! Nit Durgapur is a very good college to do chemical engineering. Not at so high level but good. Last year average package went 4.5 lacs/annum. And highest went to 10 lacs. Well there also good packages of 6-7 lacs. But for this you must work hard to be in top students of your streams because those level of packages are very less in number. After all it will be best if you acquire a m.tech after b.tech so that you can in any overseas oil company. So best of luck to you.
The campus boasts modern infrastructure with well-equipped laboratories, smart classrooms, and a comprehensive library stocked with the latest resources. High-speed Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the campus, facilitating seamless online learning. Hostel facilities are commendable, offering clean rooms and hygienic food. Sports complexes and recreational areas are well-maintained, promoting a balanced student life.
NIT Durgapur has some very old buildings, but the newly formed Academic block, utkarsh bhawan is very good infrastructures. Library also good. Senior hostels are little bit less maintained, but hostels for 1st year and 2nd years are good.
Not par with the NIT standard. Sports could be better, lots of unutilized area in campus. Academics is good, most professors are interactive. Good club culture, allows student to learn outside of academics.
