As you have good score and also reservation catogery so that you can hope for the NIT DURGAPUR , but there are less chances as you are the home state catogery as your mains score will be more so the least scorers will be given more priority so there are less chances

81.88 percentile is not that bad but yes it can help you in getting Nit's being a ST category. Cutoff's are still not out but you can calculate your rank by sing one simple formula suppose 874469 are the number of candidates appeared for the January exam. So rank formula is (100- your total score) * 874469 / 100. This will give you the approx rank and hence you can relate with the previous years cutoffs including category rank wise.

With an exact 26000 rank, you might or might not get the admission. The cut offs at times go around 20000-25000. So you can get a chance.

If not that, you should definitely try for spot round that takes place after all the rounds are over. You have a high probability of getting a better college in that.
