Sir got 97.9 percentile in JEE main but 66% in 12th CBSE board, can i get chance in NIT Durgapur taking advantage of HS i.e WB

Hello dear!
As you have secured 66%in class 12th board. Since the criteria for JEE main regarding class 12th board is that the candidate should have at least 75% from CBSE board.
Due to insufficient criteria regarding class 12th board, you will not get a seat in NIT if you are lying under general and OBC-ncl category instead of securing good rank in jee main.

Can I get nit durgapur with 93.07 percentile?

Hii.Your percentile is good. As per the previous year cutoffs you have a good chance of getting admission to the NIT Durgapur.You can also apply for other medium ranked NITs such as NIT Raipur, NIT Surat, NIT Patna, NIT Bhopal,etc.So, choose the College wisely and you can check for Colleges on https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor.

My rank for JEE mains 2019 is 9524 .... Can I get computer science in NIT Durgapur?

Well the cutoff of NIT Durgapur varies from year to year.For CSE General Rank Should Be Below 10k, For IT below 12k and since your CRL rank is 9524 there are much chances that you might get CSE branch in NIT Durgapur.

Sorry to say but with this chances of getting not is very low.From previous years cutoffs if you get more than 180-200 marks in main then only you can get nit durgapur.So you can try for other colleges.You can get reputed private colleges with this score.Best of luck.

135 to 140 marks in april 10 shift 2...what can be my rank...and will i get nit chemical branch...i am obc in madhya Pradesh?

Hello,

Since your JEE mains score lie around 135-140 then your percentile would lie around 95 percentile. And with this percentile your general category rank would be around 50,000.
Since you belong to OBC category and you have the state quota of Madhya Pradesh, then there are some chances that you might get chemical branch in MANIT, but for this there are chances that you have to wait till 5-6 round of counseling.

According to your marks in jee mains your percentile will be expected in between 93.5-95.5 and with this percentile your rank will be in between 40k-50k and as you belong to home state quota you have the chance to get seat in core branches.

The college infrastructure is beautiful because it has many glass building , play grounds and separate girls and boys hostel. Each and every truth is surrounded by Green trees and well maintained regularly.

College Infrastructure

NIT Durgapur has some very old buildings, but the newly formed Academic block, utkarsh bhawan is very good infrastructures. Library also good. Senior hostels are little bit less maintained, but hostels for 1st year and 2nd years are good.
