My OBC-NCL rank is 31523, can I get admission in NIT calicut with subjects like metallurgy?

It is very difficult for you to get admission in any branch at NITCalicut with this rank. All branches get closed with an OBC NCL rank under around 11000. I think metallurgy is not there in NIT Calicut.

If your SC rank is 21k you won't be able to get both of them
If your general rank is 21k then you will easily get any branch in both of them

You cannot convert any branches with NIT durgapur unfortunately as closing ranks within 41000.

To convert Civil engineering and ECE engineering you shall have top chances with NITs like Sikkim, Arunachal pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Silchar, Puducherry, Nagaland.

College Infrastructure

NIT Durgapur has some very old buildings, but the newly formed Academic block, utkarsh bhawan is very good infrastructures. Library also good. Senior hostels are little bit less maintained, but hostels for 1st year and 2nd years are good.
