The buildings are tall and huge with an extravagant architecture for a college campus. The auditorium is one of the best with great acoustics( But a few college bands have had a problem playing in this). Labs do have adequate equipment, but outdated ones. Complaints to the highest authority can bring in instant changes in things like this. Hostels are well maintained. If you're loaded enough, you can even opt for international hostel in which you can get served continental breakfast to your room
Its a huge disappointment. A few teachers are good , but the majority of the teaching staff proved to be a failure. Going to class is a waste of time, but due to the attendance criteria we are left with no other choice but attend these pathetic classes. Personally, i have felt that none of the teachers are dedicated to the subject, they rather consider it as an obligation.[i admit, it doesn’t matter much though]. About the textbooks, they are absolutely useless. There are a lot of spelling mist
SRM has a very large number of students. And when I say LARGE, I really mean it. The placement committee tends to get recruiters who hire in large scale. So TCS, Accenture, Wipro etc., most of the IT companies are the main recruiters here. They offer the standard 3 point something package. There are good opportunities for CS, Mech undergrads as there were few good core companies which offered 6-7 lakhs. they concentrate more on quantity than quality.
The course cost per year for CSE is 3.5 Lakhs. SRM Will give discount if anyone get rank under 10000 in SRMJEE Exam.It is okay as you get all the facilities one could think of within the college itself. Although, adding up the other fees like hostel fees, examination fees, along with our other miscellaneous things we as students spend on.. it gets a bit too much. But, few students have the opportunity to get fees concession later on as well through scholarships etc.
The campus is very huge. Everything which is required for a life of student is readily available inside campus. There are lots of greenery surrounding the campus and is peaceful. We have a food court which is a popular hangout among Students. The location is safe, the only downside being it gets very hot during summer months .
Overall, collage is good. You will enjoy and get all the opportunity to build your career
Infrastructure wise the college boasts excellent facilities. All department labs have very good equipment. We also have required softwares installed in the computers although sometimes there are issues with them. The college also has a good library and good wifi services. All classrooms are equipped with digital smart boards for teachers to use them.
Curriculum is good but faculty not that great. The curriculum feels job ready. The faculty sometimes might not be very good as such which is pretty normal for engineering colleges nowadays. Although most of the times it feels like academics is centered more around marks not knowledge.
College boasts very good placement record but most of the placement packages are not that high. But there are dream and super dream companies visiting the college. We get the opportunity to get placed in a very good company but the competition is pretty high due to high strength.
Could be worthy if we make use of all the opportunities available. There are many available but we have to seek them. It might be expensive for many people but I personally feel with the scholarship the college provides and the opportunities and exposure, it is worth the money.
Campus life is great although there are many in-time restrictions. What i feel is not that good is the restrictions are different for boys and girls. Recently there were many incidents where the staff was behaving inappropriately. Excluding that the campus life is pretty good.
Infrastructure is really good. The library here is fully air-conditioned and is open till 2 in the night. The labs are fully air-conditioned. You will love it here except for the classroom as they are not airconditioned so it gets really hot in summers
Academics is not so good but hey! where it is. You are in college now. You have to learn to findyour own answers. I am studying CSE with specializaton in Artificial Intelligence and MAchine Learning. Its really a skill which is in great demand these days. So there are many oppurtunities here for you to score
The placements for CSE and ECE are worth the fees but rest other branches are not placements are not so good. We boast almost 100% placements but which is not entirely true nor entirely false. The maxium package for CSE was 25+ lakhs per annum and average package is 2.5-3.5 lakhs due to high number of students enrollment.
This place is actually globally connected with Student abroad program, learning foreign languages or NRI students you can learn a lot. It is totally dependent on you
The campus life you will experience will be a one hell of a ride. Except for early in-time for girls and strict in-time rules for both boys and girls you can enjoy a lot. The campus is safe mostly until and unless you don't get into a fight
I am in third year now and I have really evolved into a better human in these last years. Well I had my downs but I made friends which really supported me when the time came
The college infrastructure is one of the best spanning around 250 acres. All the facilities are provided for the students for their extra-curricular activities as well. Wi-Fi is a must for everyone and that's available almost everywhere. The hostel mess is not the best but good as there is a fixed menu.
I am pursuing B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering in SRMIST as this is one of the best courses that one can opt for good career opportunities with great placement rate in this college. The curriculum was updated for my batch in 2018 with the new regulations as well. The teaching quality is good, although few teachers can be more helpful than the others.
Placements are pretty good. 2019 had a great placement record as well. Few of the best companies come for placements here like Microsoft, Amazon, Udaan, Siemens, Google etc. 2019 was off to a great start with the placements as Microsoft hires a student from SRM with 38.5 LPA.
The course cost per year for CSE is 3.5 Lakhs. It is okay as you get all the facilities one could think of within the college itself. Although, adding up the other fees like hostel fees, examination fees, along with our other miscellaneous things we as students spend on.. it gets a bit too much. But, few students have the opportunity to get fees concession later on as well through scholarships etc.
Campus life is pretty good as we get almost everything within the campus itself; there's not much need to go out. The fact that SRM Hospital is located there itself within the campus gives us an advantage as well in case of emergencies.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure including plenty laboratories, a fairly big library, all the vailable sports centres and plenty good number of hostels to accommodate all the non-local students. They are all well maintained and hygienic fairly.
I am pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science. Almost 70% of my college consists of this branch of students and the teaching is fairly good. The syllabus and curriculum includes all of the recent norms and technological knowedge according to our branch.
I am a first year student and placements for me right now is not quite a close thing but not forgetting the fact that the institute gave us a thorough review of the placements and the top IT companies taking students of our branch. They told us about the salary and the procedure then. It seems fairly good but in the end it depends on the individual who has to anyways keep academics perfectly well and skills up to date.
My tuition fees is around 3 lakhs per year. As such, I have just started my college and it has been only 7 months in there. Then there were online classes during the pandemic. I personally feel that the college needs to improve upon the online structure of teaching which wasn't worth the fee. Aside from that, I have seen that the course was value for money uptill now.
The campus life is pretty amazing. The college mostly consists of the students coming from different far away places and so all the daily life amenities and other special celebrations are pretty well going. All of the staff and students live nearby and the campus is fairly safe.
None
Yes, the college has all the necessary facilities. Department has well-equipped laboratories and infrastructure. Classrooms are well-maintained. Library facilities are also there. There are hostels available for both boys and girls and they are separated. Wi-Fi facilities are available. Overall clean and well maintained.
I'm doing a BTech in electronics and communication engineering with a specialization in instrumentation engineering because I've always been fascinated by how instruments work and Electronics. The curriculum is updated regularly on consulting with industry experts. The faculties are well experienced and approachable.
Placement is no doubt excellent, over the years SRM holds the highest placement in the country. Every year almost 85% of the students get placed in well organised sectors. The highest salary package till now was 21 lakhs and an average package is between 5-6 lakhs. The placement is organised pretty well and well organised. My college is vey supportive.
My fee is 3.5 lakh per annum. I think it is a little costly when compared to other govt colleges. But the college does not disappoint when compared to quality of education, training as well as placement opportunities. Thus I believe money is valued in the college.
As the campus is full of greenery one can have a nice and pleasant evening walk, as the summer is hot evertime there are lots of shake and juice corners to quench your thirst ,there are two lakes near the campus , on the weekend one can drive to Pondicherry or enjoy the beaches around.
The infrastructure of the KTR campus is the best among the other SRM campuses. For the freshmen year, the classes take place at the University Building for all departments whereas for the other years at Tech Park or High-Tech block. The classes in Tech Park has no AC, with some broken chairs and unhygienic toilets. Hostels are decent but very overpriced, the mess food is manageable. The architecture block is excellent.
I'm in Architecture and that's what I've wanted to do since very long. To be fulfilling that, and with really great faculties who are approachable and knowledgeable is beyond what one can ask for. We have Architectural Trips and Seminars every semester and a lot of great Talks by famous people from the field.
Placements for B. Tech is great. Lots of exposure and great selection of placements. For Architecture, on the other hand, there is no specific placement situation, but we have great help in building our portfolios which eventually get us jobs.
Fees for B. Arch is ₹2.75lac/year and for B. Tech varies according to the scholarships. As far as value goes, it has great infrastructure and exposure with other colleges which makes it worth it. Hostels vary from ₹1.25 to ₹2.45 lacs depending upon the presence of air conditioning.
The best part of all is this is having a wonderful location with really good sport facilities ,you can freshen up your mind ,long walks, huge campus ,almost facilities provided for every sport. We can enrol in different clubs to Excel and explore our interest and international level fests are organised to showcase our talents. Teachers are friendly and strict at the same time but understanding.College is connected with all means of transport.Yes it can handle emergencies.

My college has great infrastructure both from out and from inside . All the first year classrooms have air conditioned classrooms in them . We have non air conditioned classrooms from 2nd year onward . There is no shortage in any kind of lab equipment . Our classrooms are equipped with projectors and good quality speakers . We have free wifi provided in our classrooms and also in our hostels. We do have hygienic food provided to us .
Teachers are not always fully equipped with the study plan and can sometimes disgust you. But they try their best to clarify any single doubt you might have. However, the curriculum is not periodically revised and as a result college study doesn't really makes you job ready. However, this gao can be bridged by going through various MOOCs.
SRM provides great placement opportunities but you need to know how to grab them as well. Core companies do visit but in very limited numbers. Placements are dominated by software companies. Irrespective of whichever branch you are from, you need to learn coding to get a good offer. Average salary offered are between 3-4 lpa while the highest is around 30 lpa. Core companies offer somewhere around 4-5 lpa. The college is also very supportive during the placements.
The fees of the college are 12-13 lakh for four years of BTech .It is a bit high as compared to other colleges as SRM is a autonomous college. Also The money is totally worth it seeing the quality of education and the placements.
Campus life in SRM is excellent. With such a big campus and sports fields present you can actually have a wonderful time. Every student gets everything he/she needs. Not to forget the lush greeneries that it offers and also different fests that it conducts. (Aarush and Milan being the two most celebrated ones which notes presence of students from other states as well).
SRM has wonderful infrastructure with well designed buildings and good facilities. The classrooms are modern and spacious with projector screens. The laboratories have the latest equipment. The library is large and can accommodate a large number of students. It is central Air conditioned and has a wide range of books.Food is fine and living spaces are average. The facilities are maintained well.
I am pursuing a b tech in ece with specialization in instrumentation engineering since I've been passionate about electronics from a young age.The teaching is good and faculty are well educated and experienced with most of them being phd holders. The curriculum is updated regularly and hence helps make us job-ready.
Almost 100% of students got placed. The highest salary offered this year was about 43 LPA. Top recruiter was Microsoft this year. The average salary offered was 4.5 LPA.The placements process for top companies like google, amazon and Microsoft were bit challenging. My college was very well supportive.
I feel the courses cost the average. As compared to other colleges, it's almost the same but it's just that keeping in mind the placements, the college is worth it.My course costs around 3.5Lakhs which i find to be reasonable compared to other private colleges.
Its a lush green campus with, different types of building, it has an hospital inside the campus and it provides free consultation to college students. Students can engage in various clubs like technical and non technical. College fests and MUNs are really great in the campus. The security can be improved more. The students are from various parts of the country so it's nice to know different people, teachers are okay and support staff does it job well. It's in bit outskirts but well connected.
Yes the college has excellent infrastructure. The campus has AC hostels, canteens, classrooms with smart boards and a projector as well.We have all the sports facilities required, like basketball courts, badminton courts,a large playground. The labs are well equipped and equipment is constantly updated. The hostels are good enough and mess food will need getting used to.
I'm doing a Btech in ECE with a specialization in instrumentation engineering.I personally feel that the quality of teaching is quite good. The faculties are approachable and well experienced. The curriculum is updated regularly on consultation with industry mentors.I can't surely tell that the study makes us job ready.
The quality of placement is very good. The success rate of placement here varies from 80 to 90% with a average package of 4.2 lakh per annum and the highest package last year was 41 LPA.The placement process is conducted well and the CDC helps students right from 1st year.
The cost of education and exam fees as well as staying in the hostel (AC) goes upto 6 lakhs. Although you can get a discount the higher up you are in rank in the result of SRMJEE. I am on the fence about whether I am getting my money's worth. Mostly I feel that I am.
With two very successful fests each year - Aaruush, the tech fest and Milan the cultural fest, the campus is always buzzing. The approach of these are huge and we have had celebrities like Salim - Sulaiman, Benny Dayal, Kenny Sebastian, Varun Thakur and Suresh Raina in attendance.
Hello,
Although it is quite unlikely to make 2 lakhs per month as a physiotherapist from SRM College of Physiotherapy, especially immediately after graduation, it is not impossible with experience, specialisation, and possibly private practice. The average monthly salary for recent grades is between 15,000 and 25,000 . Although earning
