Hello dear!
Since you have secured 21132 OBC-ncl category rank in jee main. You will not get any seat in VNIT even if you are lying under home state quota due to low rank.

My JEE Score is 81.87% percentile, i am obc category can, in got Admission in VNIT college nagpur

I am sorry to say you are not going to take admission in VNIT Nagpur with 81.87%ile.According to last year cutoff trends minimum crl rank take admission from obc category goes to 72000 in special round 2.

Congratulation to you for securing such a good rank in jee main. You will get a seat in NIT Rourkela for Chemical engineering, IIST Sibpur for information technology, NIT Jamshedpur for EEE, NIT Kurukshetra for mechanical engineering.,..etc.

Hello Nitu,

It would be difficult to tell you about the admission possibilities as NTA has provided EWS category reservation first time in JEE Main Entrance Exam But with this EWS category rank the chances seems less to get a seat in NITs.

Now talking about VNIT Nagpur - Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur it is NIT situated in Nagpur which offer admission through JoSAA counselling,

I have secured 2156 Sc rank, Can I get into NIT Rourkela or Nagpur CSE-Branch ?

Hey Vivek!

If your Home state is Orissa then you have chances of getting a seat in NIT Rourkela CSE branch as previous years cut off is around 2.6k fro home state but for other states closing rank is 306.

In VNIT Nagpur it is difficult to get a seat

Sorry to say you that you can't get admission at vnit nagpur with the above score.

Intermediate score is considered only for eligibility, but no weightage is considered in admission process through jossa.

EWS Category reservation has provided for the first time in JEE Main Entrance Exam so it would be difficult to tell you about the admission possibilities as previous year cutoff is not available but with this rank you might have the chance seems less to get a seat

College Infrastructure

VNIT Nagpur infrastructure good for PhD in Computer Engineering. Department has own building with labs full of computers, servers for AI and simulations. Library huge, access to journals and online stuff, WiFi covers most areas. Hostels okay but old, mess food simple. Campus 215 acres green, sports ground helps relax. Some buildings need AC fix, hot in Nagpur. Fine for research work.

One of best NIT for MTech, worth it.

College Infrastructure

VNIT Nagpur has good infrastructure for MTech Computer Engineering. Labs got new computers, library big with journals, WiFi okay. Hostels decent, mess food average. Classrooms need AC, hot in summer. Sports ground nice, campus green. Supports studies well.

Cool college for chemical research.

College Infrastructure

VNIT campus is biiiiig, 215 acres with lots of greenery. Chemical labs have advanced reactors for research, library bhi huge with journals and fast wifi. Old buildings need repairs, no AC, summers hot. Hostels clean with gym, but maintenance slow. Good for research.
