AAA College of Engineering and Technology, Sivakasi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a Separate Hostel for Boys. Hostels are located in an environment that is safe and good for learning. The Hostel is having spacious A/C and Non-A/C rooms with and without attached restrooms according to the needs of the students. Each student is provided with a cot, a mattress with a pillow and a table, a chair, and a built-in cupboard. Each room is provided with a mosquito net. The flooring of the entire Hostel campus is done with granite slabs and tiles. Compulsory study hours are followed in a common venue between 8 pm to 10 pm from Mondays to Saturdays under the supervision of the Warden in charge and Resident faculty from each Department. The hostel mess is running on a dividing system. A mini Tuck shop is functioning in Boys Hostel serving snacks and savories during evenings and nights. A well-furnished gym room and a music room are also available in the hostel. A mega home theatre with Audio, Videos and TV facilities is available with a seating capacity of 100 cushion chairs. Students are provided with "The Indian Express" room wise to improve their reading skills and to know about current affairs. A big dining hall with a seating capacity of 200 available and buffet system is followed during dining. Inmates are encouraged to play on the sports ground between 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm. Inmates are counseled periodically by Warden in charge and another faculty. In case of sickness, the students can get first aid medicines from Warden in charge.

The college has a Central Library with more than fifty thousand technical documents consisting of Textbooks, Reference books, reports, CD-ROMS, Audio Visual Educational Cassettes, and back volumes of journals. The library subscribes to 62 periodicals (print) plus 7000+ e-Journals and 45000+ e-books besides a holding of 400 back volumes of journals. Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) is also available in the Library. The Library has been established with 10 Computer systems with a 50 Mbps internet connection. The college has sports facilities for all students.

The College has a High-quality cafeteria available on the college campus that provides tasty and hygienic vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The cafeteria is located in front of the main building. Apart from the cafeteria, there is a mini refreshment point in a new block on the campus.

The College has adequate air-conditioned buses which are made available to the students and the faculty members for commuting from Madurai, Thirumangalam, Virudhuagar, Aruppukottai, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Sivakasi, Muhavoor, Thalavaipuram, Rajapalayam, Srivilliputhur, etc to the campus and back.
