Abu Road Polytechnic College was founded in 2010 and is approved by Raj Modi University,Modasa and it is an affiliated college situated in Abu Road,Rajasthan. This is an AICTE approved college offering diploma courses in the engineering streams. Located in a small plot of 5 acres, the college has a student enrollment capacity of 75 and has faculty of only 4 members. At present, Abu Road Polytechnic College offers three full Width diploma courses which are of three years duration and are offered in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The fact that the institute provides technical education can be seen from the specific nature of the courses that are offered as well as the application based study.

The college has a number of features with the intention of improving the quality of students and their ability as well as facilities for learning. A wide range of textbooks and other resources for reading makes up academic library that is an essential source of knowledge for students; on the other hand, numerous specialized laboratories are provided for departments. There exists a hall for event and seminar to be held in during the academic activity thus making the campus vibrant.

At the Abu Road Polytechnic College, the total number of full diploma courses that are imparted by the college are three and all of these are daily course. The name of each course along the approved intake of students for each course shows that a total of 90 seats are available for all the courses. The college is aimed to create and deliver quality technical education especially in the essential branches of engineering. Unfortunately, information on the number of students graduating is still scarce; however, the college’s requirement of appropriate class sizes also argue of its capacity to provide student centered learning environment.
