Acharya's NRV School of Architecture, Bangalore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has 12 Residences (07 for Girls), with the capacity for 1500 residents, who can be accommodated in single, double, three-bedded rooms and common areas with TV and Newspaper. Residents can avail themselves of the sports facilities, horse-riding, and other facilities. Well-equipped laundry services are provided for residents. Each Residence is managed under the supervision of the Chief Warden and Deputy Warden, who are the faculty members of Acharya, along with the assistance of Managers and Supervisors. Dining halls are maintained with a highly mechanized Kitchen and hygienic cooking infrastructure. We serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The menu is prepared according to the food habits and tastes of residents. Mess Committee (comprising Hostel Authority, Mess Manager, and Leaders from Students) meets every month to discuss the menu and decide the same for the following month. International students have the option to choose an existing mess facility or to cook for themselves in a separate kitchen facility provided in the international student hostel. All efforts are constantly put in to provide the best facilities for residents living in Acharya Halls of Residence. Every resident has access to a wide range of activities, facilities, and support on the campus. Besides the regular Residence’s dining facilities, there are affordable food services within the campus that provide inexpensive and easily accessible lunch or evening snack options. Acharya Institutes, with its beautiful landscape and carefully tended gardens, provides an ideal environment for a congenial learning experience and encourages participation in various committees in Hall Events such as Cultural, Discipline, Sports, Mess, and Maintenance. We make every effort to make our residents feel “At Home” during their stay.

The college has a Central Library or Learning Resource Centre(LRC) offering a dynamic environment for intellectual exploration. Spanning three floors with a generous 4,289 sqm area, it accommodates up to 500 users simultaneously, serving over 15,000 students, research scholars, and 1,000 faculty members. The LRC boasts multiple study spaces, research support, state-of-the-art ICT facilities, Wi-Fi, and a Virtual Learning Resource Lab. It efficiently manages library operations and resource sharing through KOHA software and is part of the ALIBNET network. Safety features include fire alarms, CCTV surveillance, and RFID technology. 

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has transportation services (non-AC buses) for staff and students to and from Acharya Campus. Starting from various locations in Bangalore, our routes are determined based on requests from students and parents, ensuring a convenient commute. As we receive new requests, we'll extend our routes accordingly. For those interested in availing the bus facility or to make a requisition for transport. 

 The college features state-of-the-art laboratories that offer students opportunities to gain practical knowledge of theoretical concepts. Students benefit from cutting-edge facilities, including labs for fundamental sciences, computer labs for software development, and electronics and electrical labs for circuit experimentation. Additionally, there are specialized labs for civil engineering, biotechnology, and mechanical engineering to ensure hands-on learning across diverse disciplines. The wind tunnel at our aeronautical laboratory is utilized to conduct research in aerodynamics, propulsion, and fundamental studies in fluid mechanics, and students gain hands-on experience in aircraft design and performance in our flight simulation lab.

The college has a Placement Cell that orchestrates real-time campus recruitment interviews for final year students and facilitates internship opportunities for pre-final year students. We kickstart the placement process for the pre-final semester in September, ensuring students are well-prepared for various interview scenarios.

Acharya's Original Nights sparks creativity, where students are encouraged to explore and showcase their skills in short films, poetry, music, stand-ups, technology, and much more. Meanwhile, Acharya Motorsports promotes eco-friendly transportation through global SAE events, supporting student racers nationally. Student racers are given opportunities to take on various circuits around the country. Eligible candidates are funded by Acharya to take part in events. Clubs like the nature watch club, recognized by AICTE for ecological initiatives, and the socially active iCare group, conducting CSR activities, contribute significantly to student growth and community welfare.
