The hostels are under the control of the Council of the Chief Warden. The Principals of the respective colleges are the Chief Wardens, who take care of the welfare of their wards. The Chief warden is ably assisted by Wardens and Assistant Wardens in the smooth running of the hostels. The routine at the hostels includes yoga, bhajan, sports, and games. Our hostels are a home away from home, abundantly providing the homely ambiance that their inmates long for. Besides offering a safe and serene atmosphere for studies, the hostels are also places where students socialize with their peers. Hostel life gives them a new outlook on life and molds them into responsible and cultured citizens. Hostel inmates have ample access to indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The inmates are required to adhere to a set of rules designed for the maintenance of discipline in the premises.

The Amrita Canteen has a clean, spacious and hygienic canteen with 6000 sq. ft area, which caters to almost 200 staff and students at a time. It provides a salubrious breakfast and an appetizing lunch on an everyday basis. All staff and students including guests can refresh themselves with good quality beverages and snacks during break times. The eatery caters to all common tastes, serving quality vegetarian food at affordable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

The Amrita Institutions, Nagercoil Campus provides well-organized transport facilities that ensure the safety of the students: The Students who avail transport facility should fill in the bus requisition form adhering to the rules and regulations of the transportation department: Our college buses ply over across various places in Kanyakumari district and the nearby regions of Kerala: It is operated on specific timings in the mutually agreed boarding and alighting points.

The Amrita has offers the students ample sports facilities to make students play to stay fit and develop team spirit and friendship among them.

The College has a Library, The Nagercoil campus at Erachakulam, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District consists of three colleges. Amrita College of Engineering and Technology Amrita Polytechnic College Sun College of Education Nagercoil Campus also houses three separate Libraries with necessary print, digital, audio/video, reprography resources, etc. These Learning Resource Centres support the teaching and learning activities of all the Students, Research Scholars, Faculty Members, and all other staff members on this campus.
