You did not mention your category so i am ansewring this based on the cutoff trends for general category. For mechanical engineering in Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences, Visakhapatnam , closing rank in 2020 was 11908. And that for 2019 was 15425.

As both college is good if you take computer science and engineering or ECE , this is the branch where placement are good as compared to oher branches and most of the girls prefer this branch

It also depend on the branch which you took for study  as both college belong to same tier as there are not much difference in placement for CSE or ECE
