Both the universities are good and have provided get education and career opportunities over the year. Lets look into some key points of both the universities

Andhra University, visakhapatnam: established in 1926 this state university offers 1020 courses of which 85 are btech. It is approved by UGC, AICTE and has a grade'A' NAAC accreditation. Infrastructure is great with good faculty members. Placement wise it is moderate as only 75% of the students got placed in 2019. Highest salary offered is 7 LPA and average salary package is 3.5 to 5 LPA. Top recruiters are DRDO,ISRO,Satyam, BARC, TCS

Anil neerukondo institute of Technology and sciences:

Established in year 2001it is a private, autonomous institute with offers 20 courses. It is approved by AICTE and has grade A NAAC accreditation. They have great faculty and good Infrastructure. The placement is better the highest package offered is  29.75 LPA and average package is 4LPA. Top recruiters are infosys, TCS, amazon,accenture, capgemini  and more

VIGNAN VIZAG is better than ANITS in case of placements. 90% of the students get placed in top MNC's from VIGNAN VIZAG. Highest placement package attained by a student was INR 25 Lakhs per annum, which was offered by one of the top reqruties of VIGNAN VIZAG - Amazon .

Both the colleges mentioned are very similar with respect to all the metrices. However, if we take a deep dive into them, certain differences can be put forth.

• Infrastructure and Educational Facilities: Vignan here takes the lead.
• Total Fees: More or less the same in both.
• Median Salary: Here, too both are quite same, however Vignan has a slightly better placement.

Overall, both the institutes mentioned are decent and more or less are similar. Choose the institute based on your preferred domain i.e. branch you're getting.

As you haven't mentioned the branch you are seeking admission for, so I will answer your query on a general note. I assume you have home state quota for AP EAMCET 2021.

Cutoffs vary every year depending upon number of qualifying students and number of seats available.
Now to get admission into ANITS Visakhapatnam, according to previous year's cutoffs your rank should be around as mentioned below:

• Computer Science Engineering - below 3000
• Electronics and communication Engineering - below 6000
• Electrical and electronics Engineering - below 12000
• Information Technology - below 8000
• Mechanical Engineering - below 13000
• Civil Engineering - below 17000
• Chemical Engineering - below 24000

All the above mentioned cutoffs are previous year's closing ranks after the completion of final round of counselling. So for the first round of counselling you should get a much lower rank than above mentioned ranks.

AP EAMCET conducting authority  is Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada Andhra Pradesh taken this exam once in a year online mode.

AP EAMCET Andhra Pradesh engineering agricultural and medicine common entrance test is taken for admission in engineering, agriculture, pharmacy and medicine.

Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences is a good private Engineering College situated in Visakhapatnam. And on the another hand . GMR Institute of Technology is also another good private Engineering Colleges situated in srikakulam.

Actually it is quite difficult to tell about the exact cutoff because each year the cutoff trend changes and it depends upon various factors like difficulty of paper number of students etc. You also have not tell the the category of yours.

However in the year of 2019 the closing rank of of BTech in electrical and electronics engineering in anita Visakhapatnam was 15353 and the opening home state rank was 7583.

And for GMRIT the closing rank of 2019 of EEE branch was 17773 and the opening home state rank was  13873.

Anil Neerukonda Institute of Technology and Sciences, Visakhapatnam It was estblished in year 2001. it was accreditedby  NAAC with Grade A. The College provides facilities like Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel,Gym, Cafeteria, Library, Hospital/Medical, WiFi campus. Total number of placements for 2020 batch are 753 out of which 234 was for the CSE department.

GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam It was established in year 1997. It was accredited in year NAAC Score with Grade A. The College provides Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel,Gym, Cafeteria, Library, Hospital/Medical, WiFi campus. As far as placements are concern the college. Placement is decent.

From the above comparison ANITS is better than GMR.

ANITS is affiliated to Andhra University, where as SRKR is affiliated to JNTU, Vishnu Institute of Technology, established in 2008, is a technical college in Vishnupur, Andhra Pradesh.VIT is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University,  Kakinada. I will reccomend SRKR to ANITS as the training and placement cell of SRKR is providing a wide range of opportunities to the students to grab a job in the campus to start a career. SRKR Engineering College Andhra Pradesh is one of the best colleges for Andhra Pradesh.The lowest salary package offered was 2.50 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 15 LPA. Some of the students, were offered a salary package of 25 LPA.
