Annamalai Polytechnic College, Sivagangai Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

There are two blocks, each consisting of 30 rooms. 3 students were accommodated in each room. R.O water for all, Gym facility, Steam cooking facility, and quality food are the highlights of our hostel. Three Deputy Wardens stay in the hostel taking care of the welfare of the hostellers. Compulsory study hours have been implemented daily between 6.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.

The polytechnic library is well equipped with a good collection of technical and general books covering the needs of the staff and students. In order to render effective service, a qualified librarian has been appointed. To make close contact with books and readers, a classified catalog has been prepared.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a facility of Track for athletic events, a large ground for Football and cricket, Ball badminton and shuttle badminton courts, and a Volleyball court. Facilities for indoor games, such as Table Tennis, Carom, and Chess were also provided to our students. The students won the IPAA Madurai division Football tournaments more than 30 times. Students also took an active part in Cricket, Ball badminton, Shuttle ball badminton, Table tennis, and Athletic events. A Mini Marathon focusing on an important theme (Eradication of Plastic) was conducted. Mr. S. Veeramanikanadan, Physical Education Director guided the students in all the sports activities.
