Thora difficult hai. Cut off normally doesn't go below 150000 for OBC. However, you might stand a chance of getting into one of the lower preferred courses with your rank.

If you had secured a little higher percentile and subsequent rank, you would have had a good chance.

Also, only Army wards can get selection.

Good luck.

Hi Mandeep, hope you are doing well, with your percentile of 90.25 you can get admission in your desired college in Pune. Hey Adarsh!

Hope you are doing well.

You can directly check cutoff for Army Institute of Technology, Pune (AIT) for year 2018 here:

https://www.collegepravesh.com/cutoff/ait-pune-cutoff-2018/

You can see that the maximum rank included for admission in AIT is around 11lacs for Mechanical Engineering branch.

According to your percentile score, your general rank (AIR) must be around 12-13lacs. So you might get into AIT.

I prefer you to look for other good government colleges too as chances are less for you getting into AIT. You might get it only if the cutoff lowers down and still you will have only one or two branches to select from.

Hope this helps.

Good luck!

Hi Aanchal!

As per your percentile you can get admission based on previous years cut offs in the following colleges AIT - Army Institute of Technology, Pune and International Institute of Information Technology (IIT), Pune.

You can get your exact branch with college based on current information here :- JEE Main College Predictor Careers360

If you belong to general category, no chance. If you belong to any other category, you have a high chance for that. So do keep yourself updated about the same. Good luck.

Which category do you belong to? If general and OBC I am scared your chances of getting admission into AIT, Pune are very less. Also, it would help of you can tell me your score. I can tell you the exact branch too, with the help of your score.

Hello.
You seem to be very dissapointed that you couldn't get into AIT, Pune.
The thing is you can get into AIT. you have cleared the cutoff percentile, and secondly it all depends on the institute's cutoff ranks. According to your rank, you will get electrical communications and mechanical branch easily, though not CSE and IT.
Good luck.
