Infrastructure is really good of the college. Everything in the college is pretty good from teachers to library and laboratories are top notch. Also alumini of the college is really helpful. They are always there for you.

Academically Asutosh College is one of the best college in University of Calcutta. All the teachers of the subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Computer science is really great. You will get practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge from them.

Placements are also good. You will get the best placements in Asutosh College according to your knowledge and gainings from the courses. Courses are a very practical knowledge implemented so there will not be that hassle to get placement from the college.

All the courses in the Asutosh College are value for money. Courses are affordable also very well structured. Also there are a vast number of offerings of courses and faculty for the same subjects. Overall it’s great.

Campus life is really great. We have very well designed structured courses so we also get the time to enjoy our lunch in mess area. Apart from that we have huge play ground club house and performance stage for arts, literature.

In Asutosh College we have many facilities in our classrooms, laboratories, libraries e.g. WiFi, projector etc. We have three libraries; two common libraries and a department library. They are all well maintained. Our college also have hostel facility.

Our department provide good quality of teaching. Professors are very much student-friendly. They always try to help us not only in our study, but also in official problem. After my graduation I want to pursue post-graduation degree.

I have no experience regarding this. But some of my friends got placements from the placement cells of our college. As most of the students are interested in post-graduation, they didn't apply for placement.

Our course cost per year is not too high but a little high according to other government colleges.

Our college is totally safe for students. College campus is ragging free. It can handle emergencies well.

No, good infrastructure at all. Smart boards were not there in every class. Not enough of hostel facilities. Faculty wasn't upto the mark. The official paper work for documents take whole eternity. The office staff is not co-operative at all.

The course of B.Sc(H) Computer Science was not up to date to industry standards. The credits and marking structure isn't clear. Very limited choice in elective courses. Moreover all the elective courses weren't even offered. They were there only for namesake.

Barely three to four companies came during placements season. The placement cell exists there for name sake. The COVID-19 pandemic was going on. Although they don't even perform well under natural circumstances.

The course price was quite affordable.

Yes, we have all necessary infrastructure and facilities. Classrooms are well mainntained, laboratories are well equipped with instruments and supported by well faculties, libraries have good collection, hostels are a little bit far from the college building. Living spaces are neat and clean.

Well I'm a graduate student of this college . I'm graduated from mathematics . The faculties were good and helped us in our difficulties. This study can't make me for job ready but it helps in further education.

From this institute many of student joined IIT and NIT for their further education, many of them got job in different fields like banks, government jobs. Many orientation program happened in our college and also career counseling program.

B. Sc. Mathematics hons, this course costed 12k per year . Hence the total cost of this course is 36k . Well personally I feel it's ok for this course to purchase. The facilities of department, infrastructure is well.

Seriously, the campus is average. Neither the best nor the worst. Student can engage them in different cultural programs. The students and teachers are friendly. It located near metro station and main road hence the transportation is good. There is an hospital opposite of the college building, which is helpful for any emergencies.

This college is known for well results under the university. I totally recommend this institute for career building. Though I liked the ambience. Seniors were helpful and ragging is extremely prohibited here.

Yes, my college infrastructure is good. My classrooms are always neat and clean. The college libraries are full of amazing books which help us to collect the study materials properly. Many events, sports, cultural programs, seminars were organized by our college. College staffs are very helpful & they always look after all the necessity of students. They maintained cleanliness & hygiene. College canteen's foods are hygienic.

My favorite subject is history so I choose my career with it. Its help me for competitive exams & also teaching profession. I think many career & job option in this subject. Many Questions are come from this subject in competitive exam like SSC, RAIL, BANKING, WBCS, UPSC etc.

Sorry. Actually my college has not any placement procedure in my course. They can't offer students placement . My college is not supportive for this. As we read in academics so we can't get any placement option.

We have to pay rs.3600 per semester. & Per exam fees only rs.500. So yes I am getting my money's fully worth. We get time for 5 months & then held our semester exam. So per month we have to pay only rs 720 which is similar to a tuition fees. But we can completed our graduation with this. The teaching staffs, professors & lecturers are very talented & helpful. So I think my moneys are not wasting.

My college campus has not best features. It's good I think. Students are studying, doing there work or some students are spent there time with friends. This is ok. But some students are involving politics, lobby, unions etc. But still seniors , juniors & staffs are very helpful. Yes it safe & it can handle emergencies.

I think if my college add for a placement option for all the students at least those student who are working hard for there careers & carrying very good marks. It will be so helpful for students. They can appreciate & can do their best.

Its okay It has good infrastructure, facilities are quited good since the old building is quiet old so its cold , but the other blocks have Ac ( that’s the perk ) since its a government institution. You have all the other necessities.

Proffessors are the best There are 6 professional proffessors and they are best at their field! Everyone teaches in their own way and you will lead a good healthy life studying over there , that’s something i promise!!

Kuch nahi dost :) Its a government institution as I mentioned earlier, it offers courses in Bsc and BA so you don’t really expect good placement. But recently they have started their placement cell! That is something good and appreciatble

College infrastructure is good. Lift is available in the building but only faculties and needy student can use that. Classrooms are large and most of thr classroom has projectors. Wifi is available in the campus. Laboratories are well maintained with good lab technician.

The quality of teaching is good here. Faculties are available for individual topic which is a good factor. Faculties are very knowledgeable. Curriculum needs to be updated butcollege has no role in it. It has to be done by the university of Calcutta as the college is affiliated to this university.

Placement quality is average to below average. You can not get that much placement support from the college. Very low numbers of student directly get placement from the college. Don't have any specific idea regarding average salary figure. Placement process is not that much support.

Per year cost of my course is approx 4 thousands which makes it a pocket friendly college.

Overall Good. Infrastructures of lab is average. There are available Wifi in campus.College Library is such a plenty of resources. Students can get books and access of some online resources of journals , papers etc.College canteen is also not bad.

This is one of the best college for geology in University of Calcutta. The teachers are very helpful and they are always ready to clear doubts. They help you to prepare IITJam and others entrance exams. Asutosh college,Department of Geology ,makes always a strong base in geology. But there is a only problem that classes are irregular sometimes. Overall that's a good academic Institution at all.Mainly this college is recommend for B.Sc Geology rather than Masters Degree Course.

To be very honest, In University of Calcutta placements of the colleges are not so impactful. But Sometimes they will offer you jobs in some mining and exploration companies.It varies every year and depends on vacancy.

For UG the semester fees is 5-6k per semester. Which is worthy enough. But For PG course there is 25k per semester.Which is too much with respect to main campus of CU.

The environment is very peaceful and appropriate for study. The senior-junior interaction is very healthy and teachers are very supportive and friendly. Asutosh College is one the culturally active in University of Calcutta.And overall you'll get a jolly and charming College life here.

Overall the college infrastructure is good. It has a central library , lift and all other facilities that is needed. Classroom are large in size and varieties of book available in the library. Play ground is major missing.

I have completed my bachelor's in Geology.This is one of the oldest department in the college with experienced faculties. The friendly behaviour of the faculties was amazing. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent development.

The placement quality is below average. 1 out 5 students get placed . The average salary is very less. Mpst of the student opt for masters after their graduation . Hardly you will get any placement support from the college.

My degree costs me 6k per year. So it was a pocket friendly college.
