The placement cell tries but does not always deliver strong options. Students often search for internships independently. Guidance is available but not consistent. I have been attending this college for three years now, and I have mixed opinion on the physical infrastructure, which is why I gave it three stars. I like the heritage value of the old building. However, I frequently find myself struggling with the heat in the non air-conditioned classrooms. I also wish that the campus had a more modern and dedicated computer lab for our department. The library is fine and has most of the reference books.

I give the academics a four star because I am receiving a strong theoretical foundation here, which is essential for my future plans of pursuing a Master's degree. The teachers of my department are deeply committed to their subjects and follows the syllabus of the Calcutta University but the syllabus itself is very vast for me.

Honestly speaking, I am disappointed with the placement opportunities for the Economics stream. The placement cell is focused mostly on the Commerce section of the college, and as a science student, I find the on-campus opportunities incredibly sparse and often irrelevant to my specific degree.

I give a perfect five stars here because, frankly, the cost of studying here is incredibly low. I know I am receiving top-tier faculty and a highly reputed degree for a marginal fee and that makes this college an outstanding financial choice for me.

I love the vibe of my campus. I have met a lot of interesting students here and spending time with them is the best part of my college life. The college also organizes cultural festivals and different inter-college events. Overall, I feel a strong sense of community here.

I personally feel that the infrastructure of my college is good. The psychology department has well-maintained and spacious classrooms, projector facilities and a proper laboratory for doing practicals. I just wish there was a common student lounge to relax between the classes.

I am currently in the first semester. As a Psychology student, I am satisfied with the academic environment. The professors are very helpful and approachable. They explain all the concepts very nicely and usually conducts classes regularly. The college follows the Calcutta University curriculum.

The campus life is great here. The students are very friendly and I have met students from diverse background. A lot of fests and events are conducted by the college which are super fun to attend. The overall vibe is warm and welcoming.

Being in economics honours the facilities required is bare minimum and that is provided. The bathrooms are a mess even though cleaning is done regularly. Overall they are improving their infrastructure now. My college is going under maintenance .

I am currently studying economics honours in this college because knowing about how the money flows in the economy really fascinated me and the college is providing pretty good quality of teaching, especially the teachers provide good quality books online.

Do not expect any placement if you are pursuing bachelor of science degree that also in economics. For placements one need to check outside opportunities although they help with internships for the current Calcutta University curriculum.

So far it has been a good value for money. The price that we are having to pay is bare minimum. Being a government college I feel I am getting more than enough facilities and infrastructure. So it is a good affordable college.

The campus here is good. I have made a lot friends. There are sports opportunities and many cultural fests occur where different artist also comes. They even held webinars and events in which you can participate both outside and inside college which will be provided by the head of department.

Placements at this college are below expectations. Only a small percentage of students get placed and mostly with low packages. Very few reputed companies visit. The placement cell lacks strong industry ties and proper training programs, so students largely have to find jobs on their own.

It's a good college, might wanna avoid the political scenarios and focus on yourself, otherwise academically, it's pretty fine.

It was devastating to be very honest. Classes are not held regularly. The infrastructure is outdated. The campus area is too small. All the facilities are mostly in Union room and common room. Students and many seniors ( mostly associated in Union) smokes literally in classroom.

Professors are not upto the mark. Mid. Classes are not held regularly. Behaviour of the staffs is often rude. Lab classes are not taken seriously. The area of the lab is too small. Lab faculty is also not good .

Placements are mostly available in private colleges. Colleges under CU have less placements compared to that ( except few top ones). Asutosh is indifferent to that. No placements are provided as per my knowledge.

The college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment which are used and well maintained. The classrooms are equipped with halls, air conditionings and audio visual rooms. The living space is clean although the food hygiene could use some improvements.

I am studying Bachelors of Arts at Asutosh University as I have an interest in Arts as a subject and as my career. The quality of teaching is quiet mediocre and the faculties are friendly. The curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments in the field.

I have no prior experience of placements at my college. Although, students with a CGPA of 50-60% are placed at a good company with a stipend of Rs. 1 Lakh to Rs. 11 Lakh per annum. The process is hard but it is also satisfying to see the result. The college is really supportive.

The college has all the necessary infrastructures and facilities. The library is not that great and is rarely used by students. Hostel is not available, smart boards are rarely used. Everything is well maintained but not frequently used.

Since this college is a government college teaching general subjects, it doesn't not provide any placements. Internship opportunities are shared officially on very rare occasions. Pass outs usually get a job with decent salary after Masters.

The course cost is really reasonable, and the classrooms has ac facilities, helpful lab assistants and frequent seminars. Soft skills are also taught apart from the University curriculum. Extra curriculum opportunities are also available.

Campus life is average, one has to be alert and sharp enough to choose what kind of people do they want to be around. Seniors are not super helpful regarding studies but will guide you to some extent.

The College is very beautiful from both outside and inside. The college has modern labs and other needs. Very spacial and clean. good atmosphere, classrooms are also very good. i studied here for one year then i left but over all a good college

teachers are very good. they help a lot, teaching quality was good. each and every faculty has one of best teacher from the state. The college provides good guidence and help to every student in need. good experience.

Overall in my perspective i haven't spent much time here as compare to others but all of them , all of the graduated stydents got good placements in many fields. a lot of famous artistic personalities graduated from here
