CAHCET Vellore Facilities

C Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering and Technology facilities are provided to ensure student’s well being through proper and sanitised environment, The facilities are provided with a view to encourage students to grow in the fields covered with theories and books but also in fields like sports, ethics and moral behaviour.

CAHCET facilities include spacious classrooms and labs equipped with modern technology to provoke effective learning, while a well-stocked library and dedicated workshops provide ample resources for research and hands-on experience. The CAHCET Melvisharam apart from the above facilities, includes separate boys and girls hostels with a view of secure and hygienic environment to reside in.

Boys Hostel
The college hostels have several new blocks with furnished rooms and have proper maintenance of safety for the students so that the students can reside without any hassle. Each college block has a separate supervisor who looks after the safety and needs of the students.
Girls Hostel
The college offers separate hostel facilities for female candidates, where all the important needs for a female to reside are provided. Just like the boys' hostel, the girls' hostel also has a block supervisor; a separate supervisor is assigned to each block. All the blocks and hostels have separate reading rooms with newspapers, weeklies, monthlies, and other valuable reading material.
Medical/Hospital
The college has a well-qualified doctor, assisted by a trained nurse, who takes care of the health of students.
Gym
The college has a gym facility for the students. The gym contains all the equipment working in good condition, and all are fully utilised by the students.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The college has 25 Mbps leased-line connectivity.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students. The department has a Language Laboratory with multimedia systems. Apart from the class and lab work, the hectic activities of the Department include organizing Seminars, Symposia, Workshops, Personality Development Programmes, and Student – Expert Gatherings exclusively for students’ progress in co-curricular proficiency.
Convenience Store
The College Student stationery stall sells custom printed, blank stationery, and accessories.
Banks/ATMs
CITY UNION BANK with 24 hours global ATM facility for students and staff. A full-fledged Post Office within the campus.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has a Guesthouse for visitors and Parents, fully furnished and Air-conditioned.
Library
The College Central Library is a treasure house of Books and Journals, and a golden granary of popular and prominent Titles. The library has been classified into several sections to effectuate the learning experience. The Book Acquisition Section, Technical Processing Section, Reference Section, Circulation Section, Newspaper Section, and Reprographic Section are some of such very many sections that blend easy access to the easy location for easy but effective reading.
Extra Curricular Activities
The college has Extracurricular facilities for all students.
Training and Placement Cell
The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.

College Infrastructure

College has all necessary lab equipments with good lab incharge for helping us to equip with practical knowledge. Classroom will be maintained tidy and clean always. Campus was equipped with free wifi connection facility for students. There are two canteen inside the campus and quailty foods are selled everyday.
