Hello Aspirant, It totally depends upon you that how you see a college and which factor you consider the most like College Placement, or College Infrastructure or Fee etc.

In terms of year of established Chaitanya Bharthi Institute of Technology is better as it was established in 1979 while Lovely professional University was established in 2005.

In terms of Campus areas, LPU is better as it has 600 acres campus area while CBIT just has 51 acres of Campus area.

Both the colleges have Boys Hostels, Girls Hostels, Library, Medical Facilities, Gym etc.

Both the colleges are private colleges.

In terms of Fee CBIT is better as its total fee is 3.80 lakhs while of LPU is 8.04 lakhs.

In terms of Placement CBIT is better than LPU.

• Difficulty level of exam

As far as your rank is considered let me tell you if you can get a rank below 10000 then you can opt for full 100% fee reimbursement so you are eligible for free seat in cbit.

However for availing the opportunity you should submit the income certificate of the family otherwise you won't get your free seat. In the income certificate category following should be noted:-

• Father's annual income should be less than 1L for OC category
• It is 1.5L for the BC category.
• It is 2L for the sc/st category.

Also note that if you fail to maintain the 75% attendance or have many backlogs then you won't get fee reimbursement.

YES, you can Study and you are eligible for Biotechnology course even if you're a BIPC student. From 2006 onwards, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has permitted BiPC students to study B. Tech in bio-technology .

Further, the eligibility criteria to study Biotechnology course is as follows : Only those students who have completed their 12th with science stream are eligible for this course. After completing this course, students will get the degree of Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology and the duration of the course is 4 years

So, with regard to your query, NO, the hostel is not compulsory in CBIT. CBIT provides hostel facilities for Boys only. It is almost one kilometer away from the university. Girls do not have any hostel accommodation in the college, most of them join in PG hostels.

Candidates belonging to non-local region will be considered as general category Candidate for admission through TS EAMCET in Telangana. The cut off was as follows for general category During the counselling for the academic year 2022-21 for admission to Computer Science Engineering with Specialization Artificial intelligence and Machine learning

• Female: 1117
• Male: 783

Considering the cut off your rank must around 1000 or below as the cut off is subjected to change the exact cut for admission in the year 2022 cannot be determined. To get full fees reimbursement you must have TS EAMCET Rank less than 10,000 and your parents must not be Goverment employees and their income must be less than Rs. 2 Lakhs per annum, if you belong to OC Category/ OBC Category and if you get AP EAMCET Rank above 10,000 then you can get partial fees reimbursement if you are eligible for it. If you belong to SC/ ST Category then you can get full fees reimbursement but your parents must not be Goverment employees and their income must be less than Rs. 5 Lakhs per annum.

If you can get rank below 2k in TS EAMCET and meet other eligibility criteria for fees reimbursement then you can get fees reimbursement.

So, if you join not based on TS EAMCET and takes direct admission/ Management quota seat then you cannot get fees reimbursement.

As far as eamcet is concerned to get cbit you need a good score and considering you belong to bcb category and for it branch you need to get atleast 50% of the total score.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
