Last year a candidate with rank 8831 belonging to ST category (Female) secured admission to Computer Science Engineering in Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology, Gandipet. This year the cut off is expected to be in between 8,000-10,000 for ST category. If you have secured a rank in between 8000-10,000 you might have decent chances to get seat in CSE in CBIT. Cut off may increase or decrease depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

The institute has gained autonomous institution status since 2013, which is approved by UGC. The college offers Management Programme (MBA), Computer Applications (MCA), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, and Information Technology. It also offers Master of Technology courses. CBIT Hyderabad got the 124th position in NIRF engineering ranking 2020 whereas it was ranked 133 in the NIRF ranking 2021 in the engineering category.

You haven't mentioned your category assuming that you belong to general category you do not have chances to get seat in Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology in MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS. Last year the cut off was 2160 for general category to get seat in MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS  in CBIT. The cut off for other categories is as follows

• BC-A: 2449
• BC-B: 2943
• BC-C:2160
• BC-D: 2160
• BC-E: 8929
• SC: 14720
• ST: 20320

Cut off changes every year depending on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

Sorry to inform you but you need to pay  as the registration fee. It denotes booking the seat of the college. If you dont pay now then your registration for further rounds will be considered invalid.

However for some colleges, a part of the registration fee is reimbursed. I would recommend you to get in touch with the management of authorities for a better solution

Of course CBIT and SRM are one of most famous colleges for academics. I more like to suggest you to go in SRM because there will be lot of scope and outstanding future. In CBIT also you'll have wide range of oppurtunities. But precisely I would like to suggest you SRM If you want to go for ECE you can opt CBIT . ECE has also has best career opportunities in future. But, VIT and SRM are private universities check the fees before taking an admission into it.

In my opinion you should go for CBIT EEE.

But, It basically depends on your interest, if you want to learn both hardware and software you can go for ECE in VNR College. EEE comes in the top scoped branch in cbit. You will definatly be placed in some famed companies or MNC’s if you put you effort and if you are particular to study only software you can go for VNR. In VNR you may not get all the reputed companies.

I truly suggest you to take EEE in CBIT, since EEE may be of full scope in future due to some emerging technologies like IOT. But final decision will be yours.
