According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get any of the NITs/ IIITs even in CBIT it is quite difficult with this rank as per previous year's cut-offs but I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks. • United group of Institutions

A rank of of 34619 is a good rank with ews reservation. The competition increases more and more and hence, the need for scoring higher marks and scores keep increasing more and more. CBIT and vasavi college are some universities that can be got into, with this score and some other universities as well.

There are some other universities into which you have a good chance of getting into.  Hence I would suggest you to apply for other universities.

Firstly, congratulations for your rank, I'm sure you did your best. Now, coming to your question, to get a seat in Vasavi or CBIT, your category rank is too high for that, the cutoff for category extends to a maximum of 15k in both the colleges. So, evidently , your rank is a bit too high than that, and you don't have much chances of getting a seat in either.

The student Induction Program will be conducted from November 30, 2021 to December 4, 2021 in offline mode at CBIT. During the induction program you will given the opportunity to indulge in various activities such as Outdoor visit, campus walk, Sports, career guidance, literary activities and more. This will help you to explore the environment inside the campus, infrastructure, facilities and to interact with the faculty. It is not mandatory to attend the induction program but it is essential as you get to participate in various activities, interact with faculty and visit the campus.

If you were to take my opinion I think nit Warangal civil will be a better choice than iiest shibpur or cbit ai because first of all you will get a tag of a nit. Apart from this nit Warangal is one of top three nits in india.

The college has strong placements in the civil branch too. The average package stays around 7L per annum. Companies like vedanta, jindal steel , LNT, TATA group comes for recruitment and internships.

Whereas iiest shibpur doesn't have good placement percentage in the mechanical branch.
