Congratulations as you have got good colleges in the counselling. If you prefer branch over college then I suggest you to go for cse in cvr as usually the placements for cse are more than any other branch. But if you prefer college over branch then go for cbit as it is one of the top colleges in Hyderabad.
If you have interest to work abroad in countries like US, then please prefer cse as in US mechanical students have less opportunities. If you want to study mechanical, then you can go for countries like Germany as that country deals a lot with automobiles.

Yes, nothing to worry about this. At CBIT, there are many experienced faculty and most of the faculties are  Ph. D  holders in different specializations. So, there will be multi talented faculty who will teach this specific course. So you no need to worry for that. Sorry you won't be getting CSE,IT with your rank even in round 3 but you can get EEE or ECE with your rank as the closing rank of these courses start from 90,000-100,00 so it won't be much of a problem for you to get a seat in these two branches.I will attach a link where you can see that by yourself

As you had mentioned that you opt for IT vnr vignana jyothi institute of engineering would be the best option.The college has got placement percentage of about 90% in Information Technology.About 120companies visited the campus and recruited the students.IT has good number of students placed.For more details the following links would help you-

The total fees is INR 5.36Lakh.The infrastructure is good but not that great maintenance. College is really good though. Yes it has all the necessary infrastructure. We have digital classrooms. The living space is kind not that well maintained though. The placements are really great and many top MNC’s come to our college with is a great prestige to our college and they come here because they believe in the quality of education we have .

In cbit only cse, it and ece students will get 100% placements other branch people will also get but low packages(3.5lpa max) instead of joining production in cbit.

Sorry for answering your question late.The b-category application date for most of the college has been completed and now they will take admissions only in the spot round if there are any seats left under convenor quota after final phase of counselling.For a rank of 66K there are chances for you to get in cbit but i am not sure about the branch as there are separate set of guidelines that need to be followed for applications through b-category.Hope my answer solved your query

Hello, this year in first phase a student who got 52000 belongs to BC_A category also got alotted in CBIT Biotechnology.
