CTAE Udaipur is a Government engineering college affiliated by Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur . The college offers admission on the basis of JEE Main . There are 40 seats for the course of B.Tech Mechanical Engineering and the fees is approximately Rs. 2.95Lac for the 4 year course.

Both are good but the preference depends in an individual. If you are looking for a degree and a pure government college feel then go for MBM whereas in CTAE you got many different options plus the city is much more better than jodhpur according to geographical locations and other factors including ROI and balancing your money.

For placement, it depends on which branch you opt for. All branches are doing good but there are exceptions with Agriculture, Civil, Mining, Mechanical, Electrical(as they are the oldest and managed by mostly all the permanent faculties) ,though other branches too have a good performance on board. Still it depends which seat and branch you get in counselling.

Three of them, the Institutions are great one. MBM Engineering College is good institute if you are looking for degree and government college feel. Whereas, CTAE(College of Technology and Engineering) is good as you get many different options. It will also have similar educational experience but location is a plus point. And, When it comes to the Branches, both the colleges branches are doing well expect mechanical or civil.

With 80.54 percentile in JEE MAIN you have a chance to get seat in CTAE Udaipur. For getting admission in CTAE you have to register for the counselling conducted by Rajasthan Admission Process (REAP) which will be based on your marks/rank in JEE MAIN. Hope this helps you.

I hope you are doing great there . According to the percentile score mentioned by you your predicted CRL rank lies somewhere between 147414 - 165715 . Yes, you can definitely get a seat at MBM jodhpur , but the only thing is that you won't get a core branch (like CSE , ECE , Mechanical , Civil ) , but you can get a seat in other branches like Building and Construction Technology, Production and Industrial and Chemical Engineering , Mining etc

The normal admission of CTAE varies from 16k to 120k rank in JEE MAINS depending upon the branch. With 80 percentile, you cannot clear Jee mains ( assuming you belong to the general category ) and your expected jee rank is around 250-300k. So it is difficult for you to get a seat in the above mentioned college. You can try for other reap colleges or attempt Jee Mains again next year.

I hope you are doing good. As per your query , I would glad to inform you that at your percentile your estimated rank would be around 71610 - 80500 . At this rank , you have very average branch of securing a seat in core branches like cse and IT , but if you are looking for ECE,EEE ,their is chance that you will get in Last round of counselling. If you get the ECE then just go for it because if you have skills if you land in good mnc too

See MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur is most popular and top college for Engineering in Rajasthan after NIT Jaipur so if you are getting Information Technology in it and CSE in CTAE Udaipur then I would recommend you to go with IT in MBM Jodhpur. Faculties of MBM Engineering College Jodhpur are much qualified as comparison to CTAE Udaipur and if we talk about placement scenario then it is not good in either of the colleges but yes it is little better in MBM Engineering College Jodhpur.
